Steve is the Managing Dorector of the National jewish Assembly in the UK.
Born in the UK, Steve spent 6 formative years of his childhood with his parents and sister in the Jewish community of Pretoria, South Africa. During high school in the UK, Steve served on the Executive Committee of his local chapter of BBYO as their Jewish Education Officer and after completing his A-Levels, spent a year in Israel on Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael.
After 22 years of a successful career in architecture working on projects across the globe, Steve became involved with the Zionist Federation of the UK and Ireland, serving first as its Campaigns Officer and later, as its Executive Director where he led lobbying efforts that generated parliamentary debates around the incitement in Palestinian textbooks, as well as encouraging a change in the UK’s voting pattern on anti-Israel resolutions at the UN.
