Vivien Kalvaria: born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), studied journalism, communication, art history, French, and German at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and performance at Trinity College London.
She worked in Geneva, Switzerland, for GATT and later served as Weekend News Director for Rhodesia Television.
Numerous of her essays have appeared in AISH.
