Blockchain Israel Academy Launches with MSFT, IBM
Blockchain Israel is building a vital platform for a rapidly growing ecosystem
If you have been following the development of blockchain technology or cryptocurrencies that have been a media darling and scapegoat over the past number of years, then it should come as no surprise to you that Israel stands at the forefront of this rapidly evolving financial technology sector.
Among Israel’s ecosystem, is Blockchain Israel, an organization doing yoeman’s work as a steady beacon of light, pushing ahead with the vital rhythm and accelerating velocity needed to establish and build up important relationships between people, companies, institutions, governments and other entities.
In the video featured in this page, Blockchain Israel Founder and CEO Yael Rozencwajg speaks with me on the Crypto Marketing Insights show that I host, about a wide range of topics, including:
- Blockchain
- the organization she founded and runs
- the state of the blockchain and crypto ecosystem
- business networking through the organization
- serving as a source of key information for regulators and politicians
- blockchain meetups
- interesting use cases of crypto and blockchain applications development
- recommended ways to enter the blockchain space professionally
- the Blockchain Israel’s new Academy (launched with Microsoft, IBM and other world-class blockchain partners), and
- her vision of the future of blockchain development over the next five to ten years
To me, what Blockchain Israel represents, is thought leadership in a space where innovation is key, education is the basis for creating said innovation, and relationship building is imperative for the long-term health and success of the blockchain ecosystem.
As someone who in the mid to late 1990s helped run a trade association promoting the importance of the Internet and other interactive technologies, and the positive impact it could bring onto the world if properly developed with excellent education, unfettered innovation and strong relationships between government, business and the non-profit sectors, I have a deep appreciation for the heavy lifting and nimble dexterity required to accomplish important missions which at times may seem overwhelming to most people. I can attest to the fact that it is no easy feat, and is often the domain of unsung heroes. And it can be especially challenging in a human culture that tends to misunderstand the important role of lobbies and trade organizations.
In the world of trade organizations, much of the great efforts often go unnoticed. Still, it is important that it be recognized by those that matter. Yes, it may be that what Blockchain Israel does for the ecosystem may not yet be obvious to everyday crypto traders or even the average blockchain developer. However, it is clear as day to all of the genuine leaders and pioneers in the ‘Blockosphere’ (a term I believe I just coined — you’re welcome, Interwebz) that the organization is creating a platform where all interested parties can come together socially and professionally, to discuss ideas, develop concepts, iterate innovative inventions, and help establish improvements on the standards, policies, regulations and other rules of the game.
And as someone who runs a crypto marketing agency as well as a traditional digital marketing agency since many years, I understand that such trade organizations ultimately help businesses, and when they have a high level of ambition and integrity, they reach far beyond their membership, and positively impact people’s lives, whether they realize it or not.
It is for those reasons that I have find it is worth highlighting Blockchain Israel and the fantastic work they are doing, not just for the betterment of industry, or the positioning of Israel as a leading blockchain development nation, but for the good of all people whose lives will almost certainly be touched by the revolution that is blockchain. If you’re in the blockchain space or are thinking about joining in, then you may find it very enlightening and helpful to have a look at the video, visit their site, go to a meetup, and strengthen your own relations that will help you advance your own understanding and contribution to the blockchain ecosystem.
