CAIR Invites Ilhan Omar to Speak in LA

Hussam Ayloush, the thin-skinned director of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Southern California, has a long history of making inflammatory statements about Jews-including in this writer’s presence. Now he has double downed on his Jew baiting. He has invited anti-semite congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to speak at CAIR’s annual Valley fundraiser banquet on March 23 ($500 per person). The invitation comes just at the time Omar is under intense fire for her own anti-Jewish comments.

So when did Ayloush make anti-Jewish comments in my presence? To be exact, it was January 9, 2015 at the Islamic Center of Orange County during a panel discussion on ISIS. Not only was I present, I videotaped it.

Ayloush and the despicable organization he represents have (once again) thumbed their noses both at Jews and the US with this ever so timely invitation. No doubt some will ask CAIR to rescind it given Omar’s recent statements. I would be shocked if they do. That being the case, let this be taken as further proof that CAIR (the unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation charity case, 2007-2008) is a radical organization, a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing.

The FBI knows this is a subversive organization. During the Obama years, there was little or nothing they could do about it. One would hope that the current Justice Department would pick up the old case files from the US Attorney’s Office in Dallas (from the aforementioned trial) and continue the investigation into this rotten organization. Meanwhile, they continue to support radical elements in the Middle East devoted to the destruction of Israel while at home they continue to invite radical, anti-Jewish voices to speak at their interminable fundraisers. At $500 a pop, one can only wonder where all that moeny raised on March 23 will go.
