Choices – paths
There are builders and there are destroyers.
To be created in the “ image of G-d “ signifies that we are also a part of creation, and we are also the creators.
We can choose to be creators, we have this power, it is a gift given to us:
In the image of G-d : B’Tzelem Elokim, and with free will: Bechirah Chofshi.
So choose your path. Choose it well.
Tools and education are important, so we as a nation must educate and build up the confidence in mankind. We must create lights along the path so that others can see clearly and choose to be a creator and builder and innovator.
To educate to develop a true desire for learning, giving, G-dliness, peace, love, and joy.
When we look at the destroyers and the paths they have chosen — there is no excuse for it — none.
They may lack awareness, proper education, and clear thinking. They may lack awareness of what the world and its creation is all about.
Yet, they choose destruction as a means without seeking any positive creativity. Without looking to better mankind. “Tunnel” vision.
“Let lying lips be stilled that speak haughtily against the righteous with arrogance and contempt” — Tehillim/Psalms 31
It is on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur that we become more acutely aware of the creator and creation. We are reflecting on and recreating a solid path that we pray leads us to true Shalom within and without.
I choose the path of the creator.
May this year be a year of rebuilding and creating paths and bridges to unity and peace. Amen
