Do not follow your heart, or believe your eyes

I wish there was an alert for our emotions. When we see something disturbing, to warn us to use not only our heart, but our brain. To find out all sides of every situation., instead of jumping to conclusions. Virtue signaling is the evil inclination, trying to make you feel good for being part of a crowd. I encourage you to stand apart from the crowd and speak your truth. I am listening.

I wish there was an alert for our emotions. When we see something disturbing or something too good to be true, to warn us to use not only our heart, but our brain. To find out all sides of every situation, instead of jumping to conclusions. Virtue signaling is the evil inclination, trying to make you feel good for being part of a crowd. My go to state of being is calm, positive and enjoying every aspect of life. Getting through COVID/Corona time got me into a different reality, day by day. It was not positive or negative, just a realist perspective. Also marriage and children is the hardest journey of my life, but I understand that it is for my own growth. What other people do, has nothing to do with me and my reactions. I can only be responsible for myself.

Social media has become this beacon of connection worldwide. I am so grateful to powerful voices of truth, facts and spirituality. As the messages of ceasefire, and then alerts followed by booms were happening the moments after I woke up, I was grateful that Rabbi Schoff of Los Angeles was having a Torah Class about Korach, which is the portion we learn this week.

He was talking about how all great leaders, in order to have compassion, must have had some challenges in their life journey. Whether it is battling the evil inclination and succeeding, or something big that they have overcome. He was saying that emotions are so powerful, and with the right music and visuals, anybody can be brought to tears. Do not follow your heart or believe your eyes in every situation. It is very interesting to be able to see real time reactions from all walks of life from every corner of the globe.

These are the voices that I have in my feed that replenish my energy and light up my soul. Afshine Emrani is a Cardiologist born in Iran and now living in Los Angeles. His words of wisdom from medicine to Torah blow my mind. This is his most recent creation, connecting Rumi to Rabbi Nachman of Breslov! LINK: https://substack.com/home/post/p-166667273

@gedalefenster gives the most powerful life advice from a Torah perspective, which includes Rabbi Nachman, astrology, gematria and how everything is connected, connect to your creator!

Hillel Fuld is the most clear and powerful voice on all things Israel. He encourages Jews from all over the world to make Aliyah, and has amazing Torah commentary before every Shabbat. He tells everyone if he inspired you to move to Israel, your first Shwarma is on him!

Chama Mechtaly https://www.instagram.com/millennialmoor/is half Muslim and half Jewish. Her upbringing and education is the most realistic view of the conflict, culture and religion. I had lunch with her in Jerusalem, and she is even more stunning in person inside and out.

Noa Tishby is the perfect representative of what is happening on the ground in Israel, from an American point of view. She articulates the history of Israel and the Jewish people and describes what is happening in modern times. She has two books that are a must read to understand the region and the conflict from all sides.

I would like to nominate myself, full of love and connection to Hashem, to keep on sharing my light, and invite you to share yours.
