The Blogs: Elon Musk; A Wild and Crazy Guy

Martin Alintuck wrote a nicely logical layout of why he believes that Musk was giving a Nazi salute called “Believe Your Lying Eyes!” accompanied by the picture of Mr. Musk joyously raising his hand in his Times of Israel blog.

I was once walking to shul with my Rav, an (“ultra”) Orthodox well-respected Talmud Chacham, when he noticed a couple, one from a chashuv family, holding hands as they walked.

The Rav said to me, conversationally, that he had spoken to them that this was inappropriate behavior in public and he wondered what I thought he should do…
I respectfully replied that I did not know but, that I thought that the Rav probably had more important things on his mind.

He agreed with me.

I, much less respectfully, believe that worrying about whether Elon Musk is a Nazi or has Nazi sympathies or is some kind of fascist that hates Jews or Freedom – is quite possibly one of the more moronic things with which a person could concern themselves.

I suspect that there are more important issues such as the actual terrorists and sympathizers of terrorists who would happily slaughter me; my whole family; and all of Israel.
To place this fantasy of Elon Musk as a Nazi sympathizer alongside genuine murderous lunatics is abhorrently offensive.
