Enough is Enough: Part 3

This is the third time in the past two years, that I have used the same title for a blog.

This blog  is an appeal to all of you who have been supporting Bibi and his government for the past three years. Enough is enough! Your government has been in power for three years. During this time the seventh of October happened-during this time we lost almost one thousand civilians and three hundred soldiers in one day of rape, brutal murder and kidnapping!

And then for another two years allowed Israelis civilians and soldiers to suffer in the tunnels of Gaza. Thousands of our citizens had their houses blown to bits and spent almost two years going in and out of shelters.

Our standing in the international community has hit rock-bottom, and yes I know about anti-semitism but we had no “hasbara” to explain our side to a world, which watched pictures of Gaza for two years, with no answer or explanation from our government!

We have watched a ceasefire agreement pushed down our throats by the United States because our Premier sold our national soul to Donald Trump.

And worst of all, our government has been afraid or ashamed of an Independent Judicial Commission to find out why all of this happened. Even to the point where the overwhelming majority of the families. of the victims of 7 October and of our hostages, have to beg Bibi to do the obvious and appoint this Commission but the Premier of our country continues to refuse to do this. Why? Because he says the President of the Israeli Supreme Court cannot be trusted to appoint an independent apolitical investigator. Bibi, who is on trial has convinced you that the Supreme Court of Israel cannot be trusted-After almost eighty years of its existence ( remember-“There are judges in Jerusalem” was still true in Menachem Begin’s time!).

Are we that innocent to believe that our Supreme Court cannot be trusted-Only Bibi can be trusted??

And now we have many Religious Zionists who serve in the army and have sacrificed more of their children, perhaps than any other group in Israel , who at least have realized that if the Haridim do not serve in the army it is they who will have to pay with more blood than any other group in Israel, and they too have had enough of the Bibi government!

Perhaps even more frightening is the fact that large parts of Israeli society who have served in the reserves in the past two years are feeling that Bibi does not represent them on the national level, and many of these people are starting to talk about leaving an Israel that no longer views them as citizens to be listened to!

Anyone who looks at Israeli society today realizes that we are losing some of the best people in our society. How many doctors and engineers and hi-tech workers are leaving the country now or are planning to leave in the near future?

Israel must become the Israel of a few years ago in which we truly had a government which was a national unity government whose goal was to improve life in Israel,

We can do it again but it will come about only if Israelis especially of the Religious Zionist Sector of Israeli Society and I mean people like Naftali Bennett and Matan Kahane join those of us who have been trying to change the government for the past three years. Together we can repair Israeli society!

If Bibi’s government is not changed soon, we are headed to a national disaster. And that change can only happen if we, who have been demonstrating for the past few years, are joined by those of you who still consider the survival of the State more important than the survival of the present government!!!
