Fight BDS: Buy from Israel with Cindy’s Corners
The Best Way To Fight BDS— And It’s As Easy As This…
It was bound to happen in the United States. The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement, actually the code for anti-Israel and anti-Semitism, was addressed on the floors of the largest democracy and closest ally of Israel last week.
The House passed legislation to oppose the global boycott movement against Israel, laying bare Democratic divisions on relations with the key U.S. ally.
The resolution to put lawmakers on the record opposing the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement to press Israel on human rights issues in its conflict with Palestinians passed easily on a 398-17 vote, with five members voting present. Sixteen Democrats, mostly progressives, voted against it.
The resolution’s opponents included progressive freshmen Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who support the BDS movement.
This was a major win, but will a vote like this be addressed again? I can assure you, probably. Will it have the same positive results? That depends on the American voter, and the American Jewish vote. If Donald Trump is not re-elected, if Republicans don’t retain Senate leadership, and if Democrats continue to move towards progressive socialism, BDS will win. We hear it from the messages the Democratic candidates in sound bites to gain attention. Yes, figuring out how to top your opponents on hurting Israel’s economy is how the Democratic Party plans to win in 2020.
And just as we thought we had a victory, our neighbors to the north, Canada, voted to ban selling Israeli wines that have written on the label “made in Israel.”
I have shared in many past columns great award-wines and spirits from all over Israel.
How Can We Win The BDS War?
Buy Israeli products—especially from the areas of Judea and Samaria.
I will continue to share new and even not-so-new products so that we help Israeli businesses thrive. Many are looking for outlets in your communities to distribute their goods and services.

“On one of my many trips Israel, something magical happened: an amazing connection to something ancient, spiritual, and energizing came over me,” said Brian K. Marks, creator of the products. “I wondered if haircare secrets were lurking beneath the energy and emotion I was feeling, and after intensive research I discovered the answer was yes, there were ingredients that have been used for thousands of years. I combined these ingredients and created My Israel’s Miracle, which represents my new love and respect for the wonders of Israel.”
The products come in beautiful presentations. They make perfect bridal shower, birthday and Shabbos hostess gifts, and you support Israel and defeat hate.
I often wonder how hypocritical BDS supporters are and how they actually support BDS. They use their cellphones, WAZE for directions, medical technology and take advantage of Israel’s help during natural disasters. I bet some of them will use these products too, and like them.
