G-d’s Master Plan – LIV (54) – The Pledge Of Allegiance, BLM & Defund The Police

As a young boy in elementary school, just before class began, I remember being told by our teacher to stand up, face the Star-Spangled Banner, put our right hand over our heart and recite “The Pledge Of Allegiance”, which says as follows-

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under G-d, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

As a young boy, I believed those words because America had to defend itself from many external enemies by unifying as a nation and standing up against those countries and foreign radical groups that wished to see the day of America’s downfall and destruction. Unfortunately, today’s children are having an entirely different experience.

During that same time period, I remember watching one of my favorite morning children’s TV shows which featured Clancy the Cop on WCCO. He was someone who all children would look up to. It did not matter to Clancy what your skin color was, everyone was greeted with that warm smiling face that instantly gave you a good feeling. In fact, I was so impressed, that one day it was announced Clancy would be visiting a nearby shopping center and I wanted to personally meet him. When the big moment arrived I was approached by Clancy and he asked me my name and age which I answered proudly.

And then came the question that he always asked –“What do you want to be when you grow up? Because I was so impressed by Clancy, I naturally answered that I wanted to be a Policeman. Clancy immediately blew his whistle so loudly it made everyone look up to see what the commotion was all about. In other words, the respect I had for Clancy and the American Flag and the values they stood for at that time was something I will never forget.

I did my duty to proudly serve my country as a member of the US Army Reserves after graduating from the University Of Minnesota.  America has fought many different battles in many foreign countries but the most challenging of them all appears to be taking place on American soil this very minute.

Proud American Values Begin To Crumble

Taking A Knee

Since August 2016, some American athletes have protested against police brutality and racism[2][4][5][6][7] by kneeling on one knee during the U.S. national anthem.[8] Some observers have described the protests as politically motivated or patriotic and have praised the players’ social awareness, while others have criticized the attention given to social issues during sporting events, and called the protests unpatriotic or disrespectful. [9] The act itself has become widely referred to as taking a knee or taking the knee.[10]

 Knee On The Neck

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, was killed in MinneapolisMinnesota, while being arrested for allegedly using a counterfeit bill. During the arrest Derek Chauvin, a white police officer with the Minneapolis Police Department, knelt on Floyd’s neck for about nine and a half minutes[a] after he was already handcuffed and lying face down.[7][8][9] Two police officers, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane, assisted Chauvin in restraining Floyd, while another officer, Tou Thao, prevented bystanders from interfering with the arrest and intervening as events unfolded.[10][11]:6:24

Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a decentralized political and social movement advocating for non-violent civil disobedience in protest against incidents of police brutality and all racially motivated violence against black people.[2][3][4][5][6] While there are specific organizations like the Black Lives Matter Global Network that label themselves simply as “Black Lives Matter”, the Black Lives Matter movement is comprised of a broad array of people and organizations. The slogan “Black Lives Matter” itself remains untrademarked by any group.[7] The broader movement and its related organizations typically advocate against police violence towards black people as well as for various other policy changes considered to be related to black liberation.[8]

Defund The Police –

Take a close look at the above article titled “Pushing Defund The Police, BLM turned its success into electoral disaster” dated November 16, 2020 appearing in the NY Post by Rich Lowry.

The article points out that Minneapolis has been among the hardest-hit cities to suffer from this movement and guess who said something that turned out to be one of its largest supporters.

In Minneapolis – A Member Of The Four Stooges Defends Defunding The Mpls. Police Dept.

In the following video, which was made on June 7 and appears on the Ruptly video channel, Minn. 5th District Congresswoman says “The Minneapolis Police Department is rotin (Speaker’s Pronunciation) to the root”.

Omar Is Dead Wrong About the Minneapolis Police Department

The evidence clearly shows she is totally wrong. The Minneapolis Police Chief has many years of experience and therefore her statement is entirely false. To support my claim and the claim by the NY Post article referred to above,  I have found a very informative video involving the Minneapolis Police Chief made a few months ago speaking to City Council members about the sharp rise in crime now taking place in Minneapolis.

It should be clear that the Congresswoman is dead wrong about the Minneapolis Police Dept. being “rotin to the root”.

This two-hour video is contained within an article appearing in “The Hill” dated September 16, written by Justine Coleman.  This video shows at the beginning that it was made by The City Of Minneapolis on September 15-

A Prime Example Showing That It Is Unwise To Go Against Torah

The Torah provides solid proof that Police must be present in every city.  Even in terms of Society, it makes no sense to demand the abolishment of a whole City Police Department. Crime will naturally increase as those bold robbers realize their victims are not protected. The abovementioned evidence should make this point quite clear.

Hopefully, the public will be more aware of how dangerous the “Defund The Police” movement has become. And that movement, just like many other similar movements before it, will quickly vanish forever.
