Sara Matathias is a New York–based writer of Greek Sephardic heritage and the daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust survivors. She holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and spent nearly a decade in international arbitration and mediation. She writes about Jewish identity, Israel, antisemitism, and public discourse, and is the founder of KOL & Co., a voice-driven apparel brand launching in fall 2026.
