Hamas’ Strongest Weapon: Division Within Israel
Stop the Internal Noise – Unite for Israel
Remember to be proud. And stop debating just to debate. If there’s one thing Israelis are known for, it’s arguing for the sake of argument—and it drives me nuts.
Yes, spirited discussion is part of Israeli DNA. It’s part of what makes the country so vibrant and intellectually alive. But there are times when arguing becomes toxic. And now, when Israel is fighting her most existential war in decades, when her survival is on the line—this is not the time for endless internal bickering.
It’s infuriating to see social media flooded with debates over whether Trump understands that Netanyahu represents Israel or not. Let’s get something straight: No human being is Israel. Not Netanyahu, not his opponents. But a Prime Minister, whether you like him or not, is the elected leader and represents the will of the majority at the ballot box. That’s called democracy.
So why, in the middle of a brutal war, do we see so many Israelis—and even Jews abroad—obsessing over leadership squabbles, coalition politics, and character assassinations? It’s a slap in the face to those fighting on the front lines and an embarrassment to those supporting Israel from abroad.
To those watching from far away, it raises an uncomfortable question: Why should we support a people who can’t even unite among themselves during such a critical moment in history?
We have to remind ourselves: the loudest voices are not the majority. They never are. The silent majority, the reasonable ones, are quiet—but they are there. And I wish I could scream it from every rooftop:
Stop the internal unrest. Media—stop amplifying only one side. Newspapers—stop giving platforms to those who thrive on division and disharmony. You’re not just creating tension—you’re fanning the flames of civil war.
Unite. Unite. Unite.
Israel is a tiny country in the arid Middle East, surrounded by hostile states and terrorist regimes that want her wiped off the map. From the very beginning, Israel has fought not just for land, but for her right to exist—to live in peace and dignity.
This country, built by Holocaust survivors and their descendants, has accomplished more in 77 years than most nations manage in centuries. Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Modi’in—thriving cities born from desert dust. Cutting-edge universities, world-renowned hospitals, irrigation projects that turned desert into lush farmland, tech that powers global innovation.
Israel planted trees where there were none. She built a society where Jews and Arabs, men and women, all have equal rights. Yes, like any modern democracy, she has crime, but she also has a fair and functioning legal system. Israel isn’t perfect—but she is just.
And let’s not forget: Israel is a humanitarian force. After the Munich Massacre, Israel created the most elite intelligence unit in the world—Mossad—not out of vengeance, but out of necessity. After thousands of rockets rained down on civilians, Israel built the Iron Dome to save lives—not take them. The tunnels outside Jerusalem weren’t made to hide, but to shield Israeli children from stone-throwing terrorists.
Israel is constantly innovating—for her survival and for the betterment of mankind. In medical tech, cybersecurity, and agriculture, Israel leads the world. She is a light unto the nations.
And when disaster strikes—be it in Turkey, Haiti, or Miami—who shows up first? Israelis. IsraAid. Always there, always helping. This is the Israeli spirit: to build, to innovate, to heal, to live.
Israel never rejected peace. She signed the Abraham Accords. She extended a hand to those willing to recognize her right to exist. But while she reached out, others sharpened their knives.
Still, Israel stands. She survives. Some say it’s the hand of Hashem. I say it’s the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people.
And yet, in this era of misinformation and rising antisemitism, the lies are gaining ground. The world buys into them. Even worse, so do some of our own. We’ve internalized the noise. We’ve started doubting ourselves.
Enough.
Be proud. Be loud. And most of all—be united. Because Israel is not just a country. She’s a miracle. A shining diamond in a sea of darkness. And no amount of hatred, no wave of slander, will ever extinguish her light—unless we let it.
So stop tearing Israel apart from the inside. Fight the lies, not each other.
Because the world is watching.
