Iran’s Proxy Wars: A New Threat Against Israel
The structure of the mullahs’ regime in Tehran, notorious for its proliferation of terror, operates multiple terrorist groups across the Middle East. Regrettably, there is a palpable lack of genuine intent among regional countries and Western powers, notably the United States, to dismantle this pernicious force. Ironically, these same nations engage in negotiations and even promote these malign actors in Western media, contributing to the disconcerting normalization of terror.
Western media outlets frequently refer to criminal figures like Ali Khamenei with the undeserved title ‘Ayatollah,’ which translates to ‘Sign of God.’ This irony begs the question: Which divine being would sanction the terrorism that Khamenei represents? Engaging with terrorists—malevolent individuals who thrive on chaos and destruction—yields no benefits. Yet, we witness years of fruitless Western negotiations with Tehran’s mullahs’ regime, often marked by photo ops that symbolize these diplomatic failings.
Despite losing hundreds of soldiers in the fight against terrorism sponsored by the Islamic Republic of Iran and enduring terrorist attacks on their own soil, Europe and America seem to lack a lesson learned. The West fails to recognize how its actions embolden the regime, even as the Islamic Republic continues its international campaign of terror, including kidnappings, embassy attacks, and other provocations. It remains unclear what further atrocities the Islamic Republic must commit to awaken the world from this oversight.
The intelligence and military apparatus of the Islamic Republic cunningly crafts narratives and fabricates irrelevant and false rumors, which find their way into Western media, advancing their agenda. Alarmingly, even American think tanks and universities provide platforms and positions to known terrorists, a troubling testament to a misguided understanding of freedom of expression. It appears that the more murderous and criminal one is, the more popular one becomes. Moreover, the families of Islamic Republic officials roam freely in the West and America.
These oversights and naiveté have rendered the global landscape perilously insecure. The Islamic Republic’s terror network, akin to a plague, spreads across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Latin America, yet the 21st-century world seems paralyzed by indecision on how to address this threat. The persistence of radical Islam and Islamic terrorism represents one of the greatest threats to global peace, yet a significant segment of the international community continues to turn a deaf ear to these realities.
World-renowned intelligence agencies, such as the CIA, spend considerable time prioritizing peace talks over decisive actions against terrorist entities like Hamas. Future generations may well be astonished at our era’s appeasement of bloodthirsty terrorists. This century, however, appears bereft of answers.
The Islamic Republic maintains clandestine diplomatic channels with both the US and Israel while simultaneously orchestrating global terror attacks, holding the world hostage in a dangerous game of global instability. Despite this, Tehran lacks the defensive and military capability to directly confront the US and Israel. Meanwhile, China and Russia, leveraging their influence over North Korea, manipulate their connections in Tehran, perpetuating Tehran’s animosity towards America, the West, and Israel.
In recent years, the White House has demonstrated a lack of strategic initiative to counter Tehran’s destructive influence. Iranian lobbyists, apologists, and stooges operate freely in Washington, complicating the narrative and enabling the regime’s propaganda machine, which is unwittingly funded by American taxpayers.
Moreover, the Islamic Republic’s lobbies in Washington are actively operating. Even Persian-language media, ostensibly funded by American taxpayers to promote democracy, fall under the control and influence of the Islamic Republic. These agents broadcast their propaganda from televisions and radios—from Prague and Washington to Los Angeles.
The Islamic Republic has mobilized all its terrorist branches. Shiite terrorists affiliated with Iran in Iraq have initiated drone attacks on Israel, while Hezbollah has commenced rocket launches. Both actions are orchestrated by the IRGC and Quds Force under Khamenei’s command. Recently, the Islamic Republic awaited the conclusion of Arba’in – or forty days after Ashura- and its ideological displays. As this period ended, a new phase of warfare involving missiles and drones began. It appears that officials of the Islamic Republic derive psychological satisfaction from publicly threatening Israeli and American officials with death. Fundamentally, the psyche of these terrorists is restless and unhealthy.
A regime that thirsts for bloodshed, lawlessness, explosions, destruction, and savagery cannot comprehend the language of diplomacy, and peaceful coexistence with it in today’s world is unfeasible. This mullah’s outlaw regime is alien to the culture, history, and civilization of the Iranian people; in reality, the mullahs, with the aid of terrorists, have occupied Iran.
Today, as the Islamic Republic orchestrates a broad spectrum of terror, the world watches, waiting for the next act in this grim theater of war. The question remains: How long will the international community tolerate the existential threat posed by the mullah’s regime in Tehran?
Global news agencies, much like they’re showcasing a new action movie, vividly broadcast news related to the warmongering of the Islamic Republic and its terrorist branches like Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, and Popular Mobilization Forces. They are poised for public mourning for the potential elimination of Hamas and the killing of its leaders in Tehran, accompanied by critiques filled with well-intentioned but ineffective advice for peace.
Israel finds itself with no option but to surgically remove this malignant growth for its survival. Yet the root of the problem lies in Tehran, and until its influence is decisively curtailed, this dangerous spectacle will continue. The world, caught amidst these Islamic terrorists, remains on edge, and the situation is increasingly precarious.
It is imperative that the global community awakens and takes decisive action now. The stakes are exceedingly high, and the cost of inaction is intolerable. We must confront this menace head-on, deploying all the tenacity and resources at our disposal, to prevent it from further casting its dark shadow over the world.
