Israel on top — sheltered in Sukkot

Two years ago, enemies of Israel threatened to swallow the tiny nation. And then, it all changed.

Now Israel is on top.

And the last hostages are finally returning.

It’s not perfect. Giving up so many terrorist prisoners is scary. Allowing foreigners to administer Gaza is risky.

Will Hamas completely disarm? Things aren’t crystal clear yet.

But the hostages are coming home. Israel cries in relief.

And we remember how we almost got swallowed up. And how now, we are way on top, our enemies defeated, our stature as a superpower strong.

We remember where we were, and how far we’ve come.

And as we cry, sad yet happy, we whisper a prayer, thanking the Almighty for, once again, as in centuries past, saving His people.

And we look forward to the final and complete Redemption with Moshiach, when those who died will rise again. And there will be tremendous joy throughout the land.
