Israel Strikes Iran, from the Dayton Leader

“Morale is high,” the Nameless One says the day after the initial Israeli execution of Operation Am Kalavi.

At 3 am the sirens went off to alert Israelis that Israel had attacked Iran.

Israel had stepped in to thwart the imminent threat Iran posed to the Middle East and the world.

Israel’s reasons for attacking Iran include the fact that Iran is the weakest it has been economically in decades – the time was right; and Iran was continuing to enrich uranium.

Israel acted preemptively because Iran’s nuclear weapons program had gotten too advanced for comfort. Indeed, Israel had been vowing to attack Iran for years.

In fact, a UN nuclear watchdog highlighted Iran’s swiftly accelerating uranium enrichment program.

That’s when Benjamin Netanyahu told Israelis that Iran’s regime had enough uranium for nine nuclear weapons and were taking the unprecedented steps to move toward a nuclear bomb.

In fact, Netanyahu’s approximation of nine nuclear weapons is likely an understatement, as testing is already underway.

Iran additionally has a far-reaching ballistic missile program, which plans to build thousands of missiles in the next few years.

The strike itself exposed a drone program deep in Iran which had been meticulously in the works for years. Truly, the intelligence gathering and planning by Israel is unprecedented.

Key strategies of the attack included deploying precision weapons in the heart of Iran, attacking defense systems, and destroying missile launchers.

Israel’s operation was wonderous in its breadth and use of intelligence; it was carried out by the IDF, the Mossad, and the Israeli defense industries working in concert to wipe out one third of Iran’s missile capabilities.

“Israel has taken out key Iranian military figures,” says Oren, a guide in Israel; while Iran targets Israeli civilians. 24 Israeli citizens have been killed by Iranian airstrikes since Friday. This is key.

“Israel has nothing against Iranian people,” Oren stresses, as the citizens are also victims of the same regime that threatens Israelis. “Out of the entire Muslim world, Iranian civilians support Israel most.”

While the days ahead will be challenging for Israel as the country faces Iranian missile strikes, Netanyahu is assured of U.S. President Trump’s “steadfast stance.” This, despite Trump’s previous public urging of Israel to refrain from striking Iran in favor of another attempt at democracy.

Meanwhile, Oren explains that the Western mind is one that encompasses peace, while the Iranian thinking includes dividing the world into two sections – the “lands of the Islamic world and lands that must still be conquered and brought under Islam.

“This is the root of Iranian hatred of Israel,” he assures.

Iran’s hatred is “purely ideological, a religious hatred against the existence of a Jewish state.”

“We can’t leave these threats for the next generation,” Netanyahu has declared, “because if we don’t act now, there will not be another generation.

As a Shiite Muslim society, Iran uses militant proxies like Hezbolla to further Shiite control of the region.

In fact, the Iranian government’s treatment of its own population testifies to its priorities, as thousands of citizens have been executed for violations which include such things as a woman not wearing a head covering.

However this truth doesn’t enter the headlines, since it’s Muslims killing Muslims.

One of the Iranian proxy terror groups, the Houthis, proclaims on their flag, “Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse upon Jews, Victory for Islam.”

October 7 showed Israelis that they cannot allow terror groups across their border to threaten them perpetually.

And Iranian citizens do not want to be under the thumb of the Iranian regime.

An international news analyst says that it is normal practice for the Iranian regime to shake hands with their right hand while enriching uranium with the left hand.

She says, “Iranians see negotiations as a weakness.” They don’t share the mindset of the west and it is narcissistic to think they do.

“The only language the regime will respect and listen to is force.”

Iran is different from Gaza however, because whereas the Gazan population supports Hamas, the Iranian population supports Israel. The people are in fact taking to the streets of Tehran to celebrate the Israeli air strikes, shouting, “Death to Khamenei.”

Meanwhile, though the Nameless One is quite busy, he, along with other Israelis, managed to observe Shabbat.

Of course no one is under the illusion that challenges don’t lay in the weeks ahead – though as of June 16, Israel has assumed full control of Tehran’s airspace.
