Jews and Zionism

For centuries, Jews were persecuted and pogromed by Christians in Europe and by Muslims in the Middle East and North Africa. They decided to stop being passive victims and rebuild their lives in their own historic land. This is Zionism.

President Biden clearly defined the root of the Arab-Israeli conflict years ago when he said: “Let us get something straight here. Until the region says unequivocally that they acknowledge the right of Israel to exist as an independent Jewish state, there will be no peace.”

The Jewish perspective of the Arab-Israeli conflict has been systematically suppressed in the academic circles by an unholy combination of leftist Stalinist-era and medieval Islamist antisemite ideologies, that appropriated the “oppressor versus oppressed” narrative, defined the Jews as “oppressors”, and excluded their perspective from class. Lately, Jews are even permissively bullied in classrooms and campuses.

Do not be an intellectual coward: present to your students also the Jewish perspective of the conflict and enable an open discussion in class.

You will find the Jewish perspective in my books. The latest May 2026 edition of my book “Ethnic Studies in K12 schools: The Jewish module” is now available for free download at the ResearchGate website:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/361800823_Ethnic_Studies_in_K12_schools_The_Jewish_module

You will find here a history of the Jewish people, their literature and music, as well as an analysis of the roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The book is recommended for use in an “Ethnic Studies” course for 9th graders in K-12 schools (compulsory in my state California, as well as in other states.)

Lecturers and professors at universities, who deal with the Arab-Israeli conflict in their social studies courses. can use instead my book “The root of the Arab-Israeli conflict and the path to peace” (May 2026 edition.) The book is available for free download at:

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/364057784_The_root_of_the_Arab-Israeli_conflict_and_the_path_to_peace

For those who prefer a hard copy: paperbacks are available at Amazon at minimum cost ($0 royalties to the author). Spanish and Hebrew editions are also available, both for free download at the ResearchGate website and in paperback at Amazon.

The above is a letter I lately send to professors at US universities. If you live in the US, feel free to copy and paste this article, contact teachers and professors, and let them know your concerns: The Jewish perspective must be heard in K-12 schools and university campuses.
