Leadership and the Future of Nations
Let’s get into the definition of weakness. It can be described as one who has limited physical strength but so too it be one who lacks the courage to take action. There may be very strong and capable people who are tied up and are therefore weak in their position, but once they are released from their shackles their captors better be on a swivel for the rest of their lives. But there is another kind of weakness that is a weakness of the heart to do what’s right. The leaders of powerful nations like the USA should understand what power they possess, much like the people living within them, they walk around with a history of pride that leads them to even greater heights.
Leadership positions require one to know how to use that strength. It does not mean that they should be attacking every country that lays a tax on them, or kill a king if he spilled his wine at the reception dinner. The only reason there is reverence of the office is due to the smart acts the previous leaders and administrations have taken. It is up to the next generation to carry the ideas of yesteryear into tomorrow. The strength they possess must be weighed properly and used in kind when needed, and sometimes, the only strengths we should show is kindness and forgiveness. Show mercy to truly claim your throne, because it is much greater for one to permit than to prohibit.
The contrast is clear between the two previous presidents in US history. One understood the history that office was built with, he recognized the ideals it stands for and chose to use that place as the catalyst to future prosperity and greatness. The other despised the history the house was built on, disgusted by the values of the founders and misused his position for personal gain and national moral decay. And it is clearly noticeable with their personal demeanors, one walks tall, knows how to take a punch, calculates his response and delivers with precision. The other fights to the death, because the life they have isn’t worth fighting for. He throws punches just to stay in the game and doesn’t recognize his weakness, he doesn’t care about victory, it’s about the current blow he can give.
Their strengths and weaknesses take along the rest of the nation with them, as if we are forced to stoop or rise to that level. When a strong leader shows the world what we are made of, by the infrastructure we build, by the children we raise, the scientists and athletes we produce, and the values we keep, as a result, the entire society is lifted with his vision. But when we have one who actively lobbies for the death of our children, abortion rights, sterilization for minors, allowing men to punch women on the world stage, changing the definition of a woman and based on their interpretation, we may be arrested for the misuse of a word. Rewriting history from their progressive lens, dismantling the system that brought them to the world, that ultimately leads the rest of the populace in a declining freefall.
How else would they undermine the power of the past, unless they undo their work society will sprout again. By uprooting the source of our greatness of the past, those they hope to replace with thorn bushes, they are slowly taking control of the next generation while the old perish. What lengths would they go to in order to speed up their agenda? Would they kill an entire older population with a virus? Would they brainwash the younger groups with explicit content and degrading behaviors? Would they slow the growth of greatness by imposing bureaucratic nonsense across every institution? Don’t forget, the reason these institutions were built in the first place was only to help the process of greatness, the school systems, the building department, the union groups and so on. Much like the police department was established to protect, serve and defend, so too, every business a person involves themselves with is in order to add something valuable to the world and deliver that need with ease. But they are all slowly ripped from their traditions and are used as tools to further their sinister plans.
The weak leaders who seek to undermine us don’t just do it with our personal growth as citizens of their country. They go about on the world stage and deliberately show weakness and defeat, either with their words, sometimes with the people they send, and worst of all when they create enemies for no good reason. If you would take a majority of each country and put them together to live as one they would all get along. As humans we all want to have family, health and food, most of us wish to earn our incomes and would love nothing more than a beer in the yard on a weekend. The religious ones find comfort with their beliefs and enjoy the life of struggle and learn to be good people through their life journeys.
A small minority of each country lacks true happiness. They have no religion, no family and basically nothing to lose. Much like a dumb teenager in search of his first job, he has no prospects, doesn’t understand his talents and has no value for money. It doesn’t make a difference if he is a janitor or a busboy, as long as he gets his eight hundred dollars after four weeks, he’s the happiest person alive. He has nothing to spend the money on and has to wrack his brain to figure out where to waste it. A person without wishes and dreams, responsibilities and obligations, has no joy in life, they resort to lowliness and spend their time wasted on earth.
It is this majority, this leviathan, that wakes up and moves country’s from left to right. As people from across the globe band together and people from different backgrounds and religions join as one, the weakness that has overtaken the world is finally replaced with strength. We are forced to follow our leader either way, so why not elect the proper one to lead us? One that fights, one that wins, one that advocates for life. We must continue the heritage of our fathers since we have witnessed the prosperity it delivered. Were they weak people we would be waving our flag proudly and we may have been under another rule for a century. It was their strength and courage to act that has made us say these words today.
Those values and morals we speak of that lead us into the prosperous future are the code given to us on Sinai. I know that many aren’t familiar with the depths of the Torah and that it is a mere part of our history, let me assure you with the Mishnah Avot 5:22, “Turn it over and over for it is all in it.” The concepts of morality, the nature of the world, psychological and physical therapies, and all wisdom in this world are all within their words. Knowing intrinsically what a leader is means that you are already one who is attached to the ways of the Torah, it is just about seeking truth from the source that is required of man. May God lead us in strength, show us mercy and bring us peace; may God bless Israel, America and all who trust in His name.
