MEK and KDPI: A ِLegacy of Terror and Betrayal

The Islamic Republic’s most hated cult, the terrorist Islamic Marxists of the MEK (Mojahedin-e Khalq), and their equally despised counterparts in the KDPI (Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran) represent two of the most repulsive faces of Iran’s discredited political extremism: opportunistic, self-serving figures whose political legacy is marked by accusations of physical terrorism and character assassination, surrounded by fanatical, delusional, and embittered followers who have turned fabricated dossiers, malicious smear campaigns, personal defamation, and obsessive attacks against Iranian nationalists and supporters of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi into their principal political occupation, replacing genuine political legitimacy with paranoia, resentment, and an insatiable appetite for destroying the reputations of others within the Iranian opposition.
In today’s Iran, neither the Islamic Marxists of the MEK nor the delusional, notorious separatist extremists who dream of tearing Iran apart for their own ambitions have any legitimate standing; both discredited cults, hostile to America, Israel, and Iranian nationalism, have become symbols of betrayal and disgrace, and wherever their names are mentioned among Iranians, they provoke nothing but curses, contempt, and outrage over their alleged crimes and their long, shameful record of treachery.
The bitter irony of our time is that the MEK and the KDPI have become allies and partners in what I regard as a legacy of crimes against humanity. They represent a fake opposition, fundamentally opposed to the collapse of the Tehran regime, unwilling to see the legacy of 1979 buried forever in the graveyard of history. Their only method of political confrontation appears to be manufacturing dossiers, spreading false accusations, fabricating lies, defaming opponents, and pursuing personal vendettas. I believe both draw from the same source of political sustenance, and their alleged connections with the Tehran regime’s intelligence and security apparatus demand serious scrutiny. To me, both represent poisonous and deeply corrosive forces within the Iranian opposition.
In Iran’s domestic protest movements, these groups have failed to establish the popular legitimacy they claim, and their calls have largely gone unanswered. Yet on social media, their most aggressive supporters continue to indulge in delusional rhetoric, vulgar abuse, intimidation, and the behavior of political street thugs.
Today, the face of Islamic terrorism is gradually becoming visible to the world. One of the most despised and repulsive cults within Iranian society is the terrorist organization known as the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK). Discussing or even talking about these cannibalistic savages is like opening the lid of a sewer, and Iranian society has nothing to offer them but curses and condemnation. They have no standing or base of support among Iranians, and a mentally deranged sexual predator, murderer, and professional torturer like Masoud Rajavi leads this cult. He is, of course, hidden from public view, while his wife, Maryam, apparently leads this savage cult.
American, Israeli, and Arab intelligence agencies know that this cult, just like the cult of another psychopath named Ghassemlou, consisted of supporters of Khomeini who later became pawns in Saddam Hussein’s hands. In present-day Iran, the psychopathic, utterly devoted, despised, idle, and unemployed followers of this sect, sitting in Albania, have turned themselves into heroes in front of cameras, while cowardly hiding in the darkness behind pseudonyms.
They smear reputable nationalist activists, patriots who love Iran, and supporters of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, or fabricate dossiers against them, acting in alignment with the propaganda apparatus of the Tehran regime. They have not the slightest standing or influence in society or within political corridors.
In addition to serving Saddam Hussein, this sect of MEK has American blood on its hands. They are anti-Israel and, like the Khomeinist regime, supporters of radical Islam. They cheered for September 11 and applauded and whistled in celebration of Hamas’s attack on Israel. Today, following the Iranian nation’s embrace of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, these two notorious and despised cults, the Mojahedin-e Khalq and the KDPI, driven by jealousy, resentment, hatred, vindictiveness, and psychopathy, continually fabricate dossiers on Persian- and English-language websites.
They do not want Crown Prince Pahlavi to return to Iran, and they seek the expansion of terrorism and civil war in Iran. But they will get nowhere, and their efforts resemble a rhinoceros repeatedly ramming its head against a wall. Iranian society has moved beyond these thugs and villains, and even America has never believed in or placed its trust in these corrupt, thieving, delusional, self-important fantasists. Not even once was an entry visa to the United States issued to the Rajavis.
In reality, these cults are the other side of the same coin as the Islamic Republic and the Islamic caliphate of the Shiite mullahs. With their intellectual stagnation, delusions, megalomania, and a mentality resembling that of Stalin and the Nazis, they seek to impose themselves through physical terrorism and character assassination. But Iranian society has already moved beyond them.
I have personally been a victim of the character assassination campaigns conducted by the propaganda apparatuses of these two savage and barbaric cults, the MEK and the KDPI. For years, they have repeatedly circulated a deliberately cropped photograph dating back to 2003, removing two other individuals from the original image in an attempt to falsely portray the author of these lines as having maintained connections with terrorists of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
But they are merely pounding water in a mortar. For years, I have written extensively against Islamic terrorism while exposing the activities of these two savage cults. Throughout the Middle East, both physical terrorism and character assassination have long been among the methods employed by terrorists, as everyone knows.
As for the MEK and KDPI supporters who remain obsessed with that photograph, I have a simple recommendation for treating their hemorrhoids: insert the photograph as a suppository. Perhaps they will finally find some relief. Their rightful place, however, is in the dustbin of history. They have no legitimate standing, no meaningful base of support, and no place in Iran’s future. In my view, their legacy is one of disgrace, and they remain objects of profound contempt among Iranians.
Finally, the relentless smear campaigns published by this disreputable website (Iran News Update )raise one unavoidable question: Is it operating as a propaganda mouthpiece for the MEK, the KDPI, or their sympathizers?
Its editorial agenda, sources of funding, organizational affiliations, and possible coordination with these groups deserve full public scrutiny. If its operators have nothing to conceal, they should disclose who finances their activities, who directs their campaigns, and whose political interests they ultimately serve.
Fabricating dossiers, spreading defamatory accusations, and conducting smear campaigns will never rescue the MEK and KDPI from political oblivion, nor erase their notorious reputations and the deep distrust they face among American and Israeli intelligence agencies.
History has never granted legitimacy to those who replace evidence with accusations, justice with character assassination, and political competition with organized defamation; in any civilized society, the burden of proof rests upon the accuser, not the accused, and no campaign of lies can transform political bankruptcy into moral authority or rescue a discredited ideology from the judgment of history.
