Niagara Falls Celebrates Israel in Corona quarantine and always
Happy 72nd Independence Day, Israel, my beloved!! Niagara Falls rejoices with you this year again, as we did at our annual international Celebration “Niagara to Israel with Love” during the past two years.
In the light of our new found reality fighting the coronavirus, unsure if we would be able to gather this year again, I want all my precious Israelis and Jewish people around the world to know that this is not stopping us from rejoicing with you this year as well!!
The best way to keep the Celebration going is to share precious memories from the years past, relive these beautiful moments with all of our precious Jewish friends and enjoy the blessings we already received, shall we? The largest, extravagant public Celebration of Israel’s 70th Anniversary in Canada took place in Niagara Falls on September 8th, 2018. Hundreds of Christians, Jews and First Nations gathered from all over Canada, US and Israel for the Night of Honour, in the presence of City and Government officials, including Israel’s Consul General to Canada.

I will never forget the moment IDF was for the first time officially introduced to me! Fighter jets SUDDENLY swishing like comets above our heads at the David Dead Sea Resort, for Israel’s 70th Anniversary, on their celebratory flight across God’s Holy Land. The level of explosive joy and excitement that took us over by surprise, is hard to describe. We had no clue they were coming! My husband and I totally relaxed in the midst of the pool, carried away in thoughts, when sudden rumbling thunder took over the skies with 3 fighter jets approaching us at, what it looked as, the speed of light.

After initial shock, when it just dawned on us that it must have been the part of the Air Force Celebration, the SECOND flight swooshed over, equally unexpected. They flew closer. It felt like the skies were crashing down from a heavenly earthquake. That’s when the joy and excitement kicked in so intense, that I could hardly breathe. Tears rolled down our faces. We were melting, realizing the significance of a historic moment we were being part of. As we cried, laughed, yelled at each other and at the kids, trying to get hold of cameras without dropping them into the water, the THIRD flight teared the skies above our heads. Helicopters. They flew so low that we could see their wheels & soldiers saluting us through the open doors, as we waived at them from the swimming pool.
That’s when I started shaking uncontrollably, thinking my heart would explode. The fear and awe of the Lord hit me. The GRAVITY of the moment – witnessing first hand the fulfilment of God’s promises and Bible’s prophecy, landed on my shoulders and covered me like some invisible heavy blanket made of steel. The Glory of the Lord came over me heavy like liquid concrete. I totally lost it. Not sure for how long I was shaking, but it felt like ages were passing…

No wonder. It was in The LAND that the veil between Heaven and Earth, between Eternity and Time was torn. It was in The LAND that God’s Glory was poured out on Earth. It is TO The LAND that Yeshua HaMashiah is coming back. For The LAND He gave me this passionate love that rumbles through my veins like Israeli jets rumble through the sky. To The LAND He carried His People on Eagle’s wings and promised that He will carry them FOREVER. On April 19th, 2018 I saw His promise fulfilled and I felt the ages passing by within moments frozen in time. As if the Earth kissed the Heaven, deafening silence filled the air. Did the world stop? Or that’s just my heart standing still in the presence of history writing letters to the future? The time is irrelevant when it comes to The LAND. The Times of Israel are ever present…

Since we were surprised in the water, we managed to take only a few quick shots of the last flight as it passed by. It was a squadron of 12 (divided into 4 flights by 3 jets), followed by 2 jets at the end, which I interpreted as them representing the 12 tribes of Israel backed by God’s rear guard (Tanak, Yeshayahu/Isaiah 58:8b). Not sure that’s what they intended, but that’s how it looked to me and I totally LOVED the way it looked, so there you have it, enjoy a little swift Israeli style 😉
In the natural, you can easily see only a regular Air Force Military Parade and you can even say to yourself, nah, it’s just a prideful, boasting parade, what’s the big deal? You can even dismiss it completely as a sinful, carnal event, like any totalitarian regime relying on its own human strength and Military power, right? Just because you looked at it only in the natural, not employing your spiritual eyes and discernment. As I said, It might have not been IDF’s intent to paint the picture of the 12 Tribes with God’s rear guard (I really don’t know that for sure, it might have as well ben, I just haven’t had a chance to confirm either way!), but that’s what I SAW. And once I SAW IT, there was no way for me to UN-SEE IT. You know that feeling when you see some hidden picture inside another picture?
And here’s the KEY. It’s NOT about how the event looks like in the natural, it’s about what YOU SEE in the spiritual. The question is NOT “what is this?“, rather “what do you see?” Remember prophet Yirmiyahu/Jeremiah seeing the almond branch and the boiling pot tilted toward him from the north? (Yirmeyahu 1:11-14)

The Lord interpreted these natural sights as prophetic pictures with spiritual meaning – the Lord watching over His word to perform it and the danger spilling over to Israel from the north! Isn’t that amazingly fascinating? The Lord didn’t show him the almond branch asking, Jeremiah, what is this? What a stupid question that would be, of course the Lord knows that’s the almond branch. The Lord asks us to look beyond the natural, temporary realm to SEE what He is showing us in the spiritual, eternal realm i.e. what is He prophetically speaking.

That’s why we need eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying (B’rit Hadashah, Mattityahu/Matthew 13:16). And if you want to see what the Father sees you have to REFOCUS your natural, Earthly sight according to His Heavenly spiritual sight by watching through the Apple of God’s Eye. And now say, WHAT do you SEE? Israel – His Holy Land and His Chosen Jewish People FOREVERMORE, the Apple of His Eye.
You can’t love Adonai without loving the Apple of His Eye. It’s that simple, friends, it’s that simple.

Being able to SEE what Father sees is a taste of Heaven on Earth, it’s the aroma of Eternity captured in a moment of Time. It’s like standing on the Holy ground, entering that portal in time and space with Yaakov’s ladder reaching the Heaven. It’s like sneak peeking through the Gates of His Kingdom, grasping the glimpses of His Glory. Getting the portion of His wisdom and understanding. Catching the rhythm of a Father’s heartbeat. Having a foretaste of sitting at the Father’s table. And it tastes sooo goood. So nurturing. So refreshing. It’s a Bread of Life. It’s what we were created for. The joy of my existence. Knowing Him, being known by Him and being able to get others to know Him. To Him, to EloHim belongs all the Glory and Power and Wisdom forever and ever. I was blessed beyond measure to be a part of Israel’s 70th Anniversary Celebration IN The LAND with The People of the Land. The People and the Land stole my heart forever. I knew I had to take it back to Canada.“Niagara to Israel with Love” was born only 4 days after my return from Israel. Eleven year-old vision of extravagantly celebrating Israel with fireworks, Falls illumination in honour of Israel’s flag and hours of exuberant praise and worship at Niagara Falls, that the Lord put on my heart back in 2007. The vision that died inside of me couple times during these 11 years, waiting for the day when it will be finally fulfilled, this vision was RISEN back to life during my stay in The LAND. No wonder. It happened at the place of RESURRECTION. Where God’s promises are being risen back to life. The promise of a NATION being reborn both physically and spiritually, the LAND being rebuilt, their MESSIAH being risen and returning. Everything once dead, coming back to life. God’s promises, God given dreams and visions.

And how amazingly significant that BOTH Celebrations, of a nation reborn with the Land rebuilt and of Messiah being risen, take place during spring. The time and the season of God’s creation resurrected back to life from a dead ground. If you didn’t feel the excitement of countless orchards, vineyards, gardens and nurseries springing up from once dry, desolate and dead land all over Golan Heights, Galilee and Jordan Valley, if your eyes never beheld the beauty of desert blooming in the Negev, if your heart didn’t skip at Rose of Sharon blossoming over Jerusalem stones in April, if your heart wasn’t arrested forever by the flowery walls of (g)old in the City of the great King, then my friend, you didn’t live yet…
As the Bible says, the seed can’t bear much fruit unless it falls to the ground and dies (Yochanan/John 12:24). The time and the season of resurrection is upon us. Get up, open your eyes so you can see, unplug your ears so you can hear the words of eternal life, lift up your head towards Heaven, behold, your Messiah is coming back to Zion, to the Mountain of the Lord, get ready to meet Him and live.

Before Israel trip the Lord clearly spoke into my spirit: you have to meet me first at MY Mountain, go up to Zion first and worship on the Mountain of the Lord, in order to be able to take over any other Mountain I give to you. “Niagara to Israel with Love” annual Celebration is the fruit of the seed of God’s promise which first died inside of me but it was resurrected in the Land. It is the fruit of having eyes to see, ears to hear and heart to obey what you saw and heard the Lord showed you. That is the power of meeting God of Israel and worshiping Him in His Holy LAND.
The Land 3000 years old and 72 years young. That is possible only with the God of Israel “with whom a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day” (II Kefa 3:8). That’s WHY the time is irrelevant when it comes to The LAND. The Times of Israel are hidden in the Apple of God’s Eye, they are – ever present…
