Protect Your Lives…. It’s War Again

It seems that we have not suffered enough damages and loss of lives. More is yet to come on Thursday, 10 June, when the unnecessary Jerusalem Flag March parades violently into East Jerusalem and the Sheikh Jarrah quarters, incited by the fascist racist Knesset member, Itamar Ben-Gvir.

The proposed march will definitely lead into murders of both Jews and Arabs and will be the cause of a new war heralded by Hamas in Gaza.

As one of our own security officials remarked “someone is insisting on setting Jerusalem ablaze”.

The “someone” is the threesome of Netanyahu who encourages the march, of Ben-Gvir who leads it, and of Rabbi Drukman who tells his orthodox followers to support it.

They show little or no concern at all for the lives of Israelis who are certainly in danger. There is insufficient police security to protect and defend them.

The chief editor of The Times of Israel, David Horovitz, stated it in better words than I can. He said “desperate to retain power, the prime minister is fomenting domestic hatred with unprecedented vigor, peddling conspiracy theories, ignoring his own security chiefs’ warnings”.

It’s time to run for your lives. Protect your children. Another Hamas war is about to fall upon us. Hamas has threatened us with reprisals if any part of Jerusalem is harmed or any Arab Jerusalemites injured or killed.

I, for one, believe Sinwar’s threats more than I believe any word out of Netanyahu’s loud mouth.

Ben-Gvir is leading us to more destruction. The police must prevent him from marching in the Muslim quarters of the Old City.

Yigal Amir, the assassin who took away the life of prime minister Yitzchak Rabin in 1995, is serving a life term in prison. But be assured, people of Israel, there are unfortunately many more Yigal Amirs in Israel waiting for their right opportunity and moment to pull the trigger and end a life or more.

We do not know who they are nor where they are but we most certainly know that they do exist among us.

Ohana, our minister of police who is second after Sara in devotion to Bibi Netanyahu, does very little, almost nothing, to protect the anti-Netanyahu protesters who preserve their rights of assembly and free speech. If any of them are injured by the Netanyahu gang of rowdies, Ohana closes both eyes. He sees nothing, says nothing and does nothing.

When Netanyahu is ousted, im yirtzeh Hashem/ Insh’Allah, the citizens of Israel can expect new, stronger and better police protection. It is our right to have it, with or hopefully without Ohana.

The severe problem of property ownership in East Jerusalem will not be solved by violent parades nor physical violence. It can only be solved by the wise decision of our courts who will examine deeds of ownership prior to 1948. If Jewish ownership is found to be correct, only then should the Arab residents be legally evicted from the homes. Violence only brings bloodshed. And Arab bloodshed brings Jewish bloodshed. Neither is wanted nor needed. With trust in the judgment of our courts of law, a difficult matter can be solved. Not without venom and hatred, but solved by removal nonetheless.

I am not looking forward to the Jerusalem march on Thursday. The police and the interior ministry must forbid the legal march from entering the Old City by the Damascus or Jaffa gates. Another way must be found for the preservation of lives and property.

Jerusalem, over two thousand years, has seen too much bloodshed. There must not be more.

But in the horrible event that violence takes place, every citizen of Israel must be 100% assured of a new war out of Gaza. Hamas has promised it and Hamas is known to keep promises.

Now is time to stock up on food supplies and essential items. Protect your children. Save lives. Get ready to run to the shelters. A new war may be on the way. Chas v’chalila. God forbid it.

Shomer Yisrael yishmor v’yatzil et amo mi kol ra. The Watchman of Israel will watch over and protect His people from all harm. Ken yehi ratzon. So may it ever be!
