Schiffeses

US Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) thinks he is an absolute ruler, a monarch, a son of Amun, a Schiffeses.

Ever since the Democrats took control of the House of Representatives and Schiffeses became the head of the House Intelligence Committee, he has been swinging the Trump impeachment noose. He repeatedly promised the public that he had “conclusive” evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia. When the Mueller report concluded that there was “no collusion”, Schiffeses mischaracterized the Mueller report.

He sees Republicans as Pharaoh saw the Jews, i.e., a foreign nation living among “us” (Democrats) who might one day become more powerful. and overtake them. The anti-Semitic canard of dual loyalty began with Pharaoh.

So if Schiffeses’ acts are so unjust, abusive and Constitutionally suspect, why has he not been stopped?

Cue another “the rabbis say”.

Hashem could have delivered the Jews from bondage after the first plague. Instead, there were ten plagues, each increasing in severity, ending in the deaths of Egyptian first born.

Two things were at play.

Pharaoh had free will. He could always change his mind. A rational person would have done it after the first few plagues. But he didn’t. As a result, God hardened his heart in order to make deliverance even more spectacular when it did come.

When Hashem finally did free the slaves, it was HUUGE! Hashem told Moses to lead the Jews out in broad daylight so that the miracle would be witnessed and to leave with “all the wealth of Egypt” as compensation for their centuries of bondage.

And they did.

They still had need of a few more miracles (clouds of glory, pillar of fire, splitting of the sea) but their freedom had been set in motion.
Schiffeses’ bizarre, bug-eyed, ostrich neck anti-Trump rants have shocked civil libertarians and legal scholars everywhere

His behavior is especially distressing to many Jewish Americans.

The sages (them again) tell us four-fifths of the enslaved Jews refused to leave Egypt with Moses and even among those that did go, there were rebels and traitors.

Schiffeses graduated from Stanford University and Harvard Law School, two of the most prestigious universities in the world.

One has to wonder if the professors at HLS skipped Constitutional Law, Rules of Criminal and Civil Procedure, Evidence and Ethics.

But that is a digression.

After all, the Pharaoh of the Exodus probably studied with the best Egyptian priests.

Perhaps he went to the University of Karnak (indulge me) whose motto was “Prepare for the afterlife!  It’s sooner than you think!”

Pharaoh seems to had many of the obsessions and shortcomings of modern day tyrants.

He had a terrible temper.

He told Moses to “Get out!” and to never let him see his face again.

When Schiffeses gets angry, he stops moving and stares straight ahead. (“Calling Dr. Freud! Dr. Sigmund Freud!”)

At those times, Schiffeses looks so enraged that a viewer could reasonably conclude that only way he can keep himself from exploding is if he remains utterly motionless.

America got a good look at Schiffeses during the televised House Intelligence Committee hearings.

“Child with a toy hand grenade in Central Park, N.Y.C.” by photographer Diane Arbus comes to mind.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report is scheduled to be released on Monday, December 9, 2019. The findings by United States Attorney John Durham are expected soon.

Despite the fact that the Democrats’ impeachment obsession has done great harm to their party and Trump’s approval rating keeps growing and growing, Schiffeses refuses to back down.

Like Pharaoh he will drive his army, together with their horses and chariots into the sea in pursuit of Trump.

Stand back.
