Symphony of Psalms: From Travail to Consolation

Symphony of Psalms

for Psalms 3, 7, 18, 30, 34, 51, 52,54, 56, 57, 59,60, 63, 142

From Travail to  Consolation

Even when all seems lost, only the spark

Ignited by faith alone, gives the strength

To vanquish the albatross of doubt;

Thus to regain equilibrium’s shield.

Searing pain assuaged by the Lord’s balsam

Awakens hope to life, strength to purpose,

Determination to continue life,

Amidst arrows that stray from their targets.

Refuge deep in one’s soul unites with G-d

For solace for the night, awaiting dawn;

Hidden from one’s fears, one finds shelter

In full trust of the Sukkah Shlema. *

That wraps G-d’s impenetrable shield

To hold all together when all seems lost.

*A Divine Pavilion of protection
