It’s been 7 months since I wrote my last article, in which I explained why I left the Democratic Party. Since then, I have grown more comfortable publicly sharing that I voted for Trump in the 2024 Presidential election. This change is significant to my political journey, reflecting my shift away from prior hesitation.
Last August, I returned to Twitter/X with my original handle to reconnect with the Trump-supporting community and to explain my departure from the Democratic Party. Most have welcomed me, though a few are understandably skeptical. I acknowledge that my earlier negative attitudes toward Trump supporters and the President shaped these responses, and I now recognize the importance of examining my behavior during my transition.
Through continued engagement with Trump supporters on Twitter, I have rediscovered my core values as a conservative—support for the First and Second Amendments, ensuring the safety of all Americans, and acknowledging national security threats. I also recognize the importance of Israel as an ally and am encouraged that conservatives are addressing antisemitism within our ranks. These developments reaffirm my decision to realign politically, especially as a Jewish American.
Watching President Trump’s State of the Union address gave me a sense of patriotic pride in being an American.  Seeing all the soldiers and veterans he awarded showed me how much he loved them. Which now makes me question the media that they were lying that Trump called the fallen “suckers and losers.” This also makes me wonder, what else did the legacy media lie about President Trump?  Days later, President Trump made the tough call to take out Iran, which ended in the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the head of Islamic terrorism. The man responsible for thousands of American deaths. The one who has called death to America and Israel on a regular basis, not only am I grateful for President Trump’s accomplishments in his second term, but I am grateful that he is making America safe. I have never been prouder to be a Trump Supporter.
