The Land of the Free and the Home of Who?

It appears that everyone, from all sides of the globe and over the seas to Israel, is running out of words. This is about the out of control situation in America-regarding the spread of lies and spit of hate from many on the college campuses and elsewhere. As I write the chaos is invading and spreading like a cancer that cannot be treated.

I am a Jewish American woman, living in Israel because there is no place I would rather be.

There is not a week that goes by, since October 7th, without someone asking me if I can move back to New York or why don’t I for a while. The better question is, do I want to move back to New York, to America? It has been said that it is “The land of the free and the home of the brave.” Well, from my perspective, those words are long gone. All media channels have revealed that freedom has been replaced and reinterpreted into a very ugly display of a distorted load of false information from many outlets in America. One-sided reporting that has no credibility and is riddled with poison.

The chaos that continues on the university campuses across America is appalling; and if you’re not even annoyed by it then you are a part of this huge intrusion. Are any of those pro-Intifada/ Palestinian troublemakers, (clearly they are all followers without any leaders) even aware of what the word “Intifada” stands for? How about the notion of Palestine — any clue to what that region is like or if it exists? Obviously, from their voices that are quite loud and confused, they have no clue about any of their plight. Whoever is funding all of this noise and embarrassment in America, should at least give them a brief script.

Anyone that looks to excuse the protestors as being allowed to use their voice to take a stand against war — I have a message for all of them — including many of the “morning show” hostesses and news anchors also. Too many of those affiliated with American media that did not do their job sufficiently, by not acknowledging the slaughter that occurred to so many innocent Israelis and Jews and others alike, on October 7th have failed. They have not only disgraced themselves, they have disappointed many from near and far. If they made any reference to the tragedy of October 7th, we all stood by and saw them in full view, how they barely mentioned the attack just days later and in fact particularly failed the women. All of these contributors are a big part of the toxic atmosphere across America; many of them just bluff their way through the segments at best. By October 9th, they were on to the next topic which was more significant to them. Those with a platform just moved the nightmare of October 7th and all the details that continue to evolve up to this day from their shows and any outlet they engage in. October 7th is real and is what life continues to revolve around in a normal world.

Those loads of bored Americans that are causing chaos, they should be a part of the future of our world; however, they are forever lost. The fact is that they are not opposing the war, the truth is they are way too aggressive and ignorant to take that stand. They have proved themselves of this and their true colors have been revealed. The herds out there, obviously, have thrown away their futures. Unfortunately, America appears to be very weak while not maintaining order across the country and back. There is no excuse for this.

Antisemitism is a real serious fact of life and a big danger and destruction to many lives. It is a deadly goal. The real news flash for all the haters: NEVER AGAIN IS NOW. We, the Jewish tribe, are united and strong and very focused. All the noise and disruptions that are orchestrated will come to an end. What will happen to all these lost losers, who have no identity and certainly nailed the door shut on their future? I, for one, do not care what happens to these ignorant and vicious haters.

Home, here in Israel, there is always a feeling of protection, during serious times obviously this is a gift. I hope one day the world, including my old stomping grounds, back in the New York city area, will stand up with confidence for the Jewish people everywhere. Like back in the day and not too long ago with the “black lives matter” movement-today the slogan must be-”JEWISH LIVES MATTER TOO.” At least rein in these crowds of protestors, along with the wild and the unemployed and the foolish ones that just follow instructions from the truly wicked humans of this world.

People need to step up in life, speak out loud, prove that the scenes from the out of control brats (young and old) and big mouths, who’ve attempted to invade America and what it truly stood for, are indubitably unacceptable and need to be punished and dismissed.
