The time to cry is right now

This one really hurts and I am sure most if not all of us are in pain after we read the official announcement from Hamas that bodies of the Bibas family (Shiri, Kfir and Ariel) will be transferred to Israel on Thursday. And Yarden, the husband and father with all of us has been hoping for the best until now, even after being tortured by Hamas with contradictory “news” about his family fate. The cruelty and savagery of Hamas has no boundaries. After Eli Sharabi, Or Levy and Ohad Ben Ami were returned to Israel a few days ago, obviously emaciated, tortured and not even able to walk on their own we were stunned and horrified by their resemblance to survivors of Nazi concentration camps, yes, Hamas is a terrorist Nazi organization and should be treated as such.

I do not understand why Bezalel Smotrich did not and does not see the resemblance between Hamas and Nazis, adding that “there was only one Holocaust, and nothing, no matter how terrible, compares to it.” Yes, it was much worse and lasted longer. True, but at some point, Nazis were just “starting”, and not that many people would predict or imagine the horror in ensuing years. If Hamas would have the opportunity, they would do the same – bring another Holocaust, after all they are quite open about it.

When Hamas talks about permanent ceasefire and end to the war, only unsuspecting people who do not understand Hamas language and useful idiots who do not hear the whole message. Hamas made it very clear, even right on October 7 – that this was just the beginning, and that this will be repeated again and again until Israel will be no more. And how about their call for permanent ceasefire and end to the war?

Dear friends, don’t let them fool us. “Permanent” ceasefire lasts for ten years according to hudna, an Islamic concept where permanent ceasefire lasts ten years, it is tactical maneuver developed by early Islam to rearm and reassess next steps and strategy in a conflict that would bring better outcome. No way we can say bye-bye to the end of the war. Obviously, all hostages need to be brought home, and Hamas cannot be allowed to be awarded for its savagery and Jew hate without borders, and total lack of any empathy toward any human beings. Yes, that is exactly what I mean – any human beings including their fellow Gazans.

As Hamas representatives assured us many (and not many believe them) that the fate and lives of their fellow Gazans are meaningless, they serve only as decoys and bait for foreign officials, governments, journalists, professors and their students. And will anything change? I doubt it, I did not notice “the world reeling from seeing the emaciated hostages” (as somebody claimed in a blog on TOI), and for sure it is not going to reel now either, after all it is just Jews…

Sorry, I need to go and cry. We all should do that. And say Kaddish later at the burial. And never forget and forgive.
