The West Backs Terror — Israel Must Annex Now

The West just rewarded terrorism. Britain, Canada, and Australia today formally recognized a so-called Palestinian State. Portugal is already in, and France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, and Malta are racing to the UN to join the charade. These are the same governments that sat on their hands after October 7th, 2023, when 1,200 Israelis were butchered in their homes, women raped, children burned alive, babies decapitated and 250 hostages dragged into Gaza. The world witnessed the bloodiest day for Jews since the Holocaust—and now it hands Hamas a diplomatic prize.
Thus, Israel cannot afford polite silence. It is time to annex Area C of the West Bank, the land that guarantees our survival.
Doubtlessly, Area C is the backbone of Judea and Samaria. It is 60% of the territory, under full Israeli control since Oslo, with more than 490,000 Israeli Jews building communities there—Gush Etzion, Ma’ale Adumim, Ariel, the Jordan Valley. By contrast, about 350,000 Palestinians live in scattered villages, many tied economically to Israel. The reality is already clear: these lands are Jewish in demography, infrastructure, and security. Sovereignty is overdue.
The strategic imperative is obvious. Gush Etzion secures Jerusalem’s southern flank and connects directly to the capital. The Jordan Valley—our eastern wall—provides the only defensible border against infiltration from Jordan, Iranian smuggling routes, and future jihadist encampments. Every serious general from Yigal Allon to modern IDF chiefs has said the same thing: without the Jordan Valley, Israel is indefensible. Annexing these zones makes permanent what Israeli blood has already secured.
Critics will scream about “international law.” Spare us the hypocrisy.
Where was “law” when Hamas launched 40,000 rockets into our territory (since 2007)? Where was “law” when Iran armed its proxies across the region?
As usual, the UN has condemned Israel over 90 times since 2020, while turning a blind eye to Assad gassing his own people, ignoring Saudi Arabia’s butchering operation in Yemen, and rewarding Iran with a seat at the UN Human Rights Council after becoming the country with the most hanged protesters in history.
On the other hand, here is the legal truth they refuse to mention: the West Bank was never the sovereign territory of a Palestinian state. Jordan illegally annexed it in 1950, then formally relinquished its claim in 1986. When Israel took the territory in a defensive war in 1967, it became disputed land, not “occupied” land. International law is on Israel’s side far more than the dishonest resolutions at Turtle Bay.
Meanwhile, the cost of hesitation is real. The Gaza war has already cost Israel tens of billions of shekels in military spending, reserve mobilization, and lost tourism. More than 1,000 IDF soldiers have been killed in Gaza and northern operations—our sons and daughters, paying with their lives while Europe applauds Palestinian flag-waving at the UN. Each week of indecision bleeds treasure and blood. Annexation stabilizes borders, strengthens morale, and signals to the region that Israel decides its destiny, not foreign ministries in London or Ottawa.
And timing matters. Israel is exploring openings with Syria and Lebanon.
Do we approach those talks from a position of weakness, or from strength with Area C already under our sovereignty? A bold move now forces our neighbors—and even the Arab world—to deal with reality. Gulf states’ normalized relations with Israel are not out of pity, but out of a desire for power. They care about trade, technology, and Iran, not Western diplomats handing out participation trophies to Abbas. Annexation, done smartly, will not wreck the Abraham Accords. On the contrary, it will show Israel’s strength—something Arabs respect far more than UN speeches.
This is not just retaliation against Western arrogance; it is a way to push Palestinians toward reality. Gaza, after the carnage Hamas unleashed, is finished as a political entity. It will likely become an internationalized city or a demilitarized economic zone—the “Trump Riviera” idea that sounded crazy until now.
The real Palestinian entity will be in the West Bank, a confederated emirate under Palestinian political management but under iron Israeli security control. That is the only viable model. Annexing Area C makes it undeniable.
Enough waiting. Enough hand-wringing. The West just recognized a fantasy state as a reward for October 7th. Israel must respond with facts, sovereignty, and survival. Annex Area C—Gush Etzion, Jordan Valley, the settlement blocs—now. Show the world that our borders are drawn not in Brussels, not in Ottawa, not in Canberra, but in Jerusalem.
The Jewish people did not rise from Auschwitz to let Europe dictate again where Jews may live. Sovereignty in Area C is not a choice. It is our duty—to history, to security, and to every fallen soldier who gave his life for the future of the Jewish state.
Annex Now. Defend Forever. No Apologies.
