Theatrical performance

In the 1940s, the Zhoushan Road of Shanghai was nicknamed “Small Vienna” and this name mainly came from the Jews who lived here. The Jews love art and even when they fled from their homes, they maintained their passion for art. Many stars have emerged from there and become famous. After settling down in Shanghai, the Jews started to form some art groups and staged some plays on the old stages of Zhoushan Road in Yiddish, always attracting a lot of audience.
