Trump’s Bribes, Netanyahu’s “Crimes”: The Real Witch Hunt

For years, the world has been fed a narrative: Benjamin Netanyahu, corrupt leader of Israel, clinging to power through deceit and bribery. Headlines screamed “scandal!”, political rivals cheered, and Israel, one of the most resilient democracies in the Middle East, was thrown into turmoil. But what if the real story is not corruption but a coup disguised as justice?

And what if the man many call “Israel’s greatest friend,” Donald Trump, is guilty of the very same thing he and others accused Netanyahu of, but on a much grander scale?

The Smear Campaign That Shook Israel

Since 2020, Israel has been living under the shadow of what can only be described as a political witch hunt. The accusations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, spanning three cases known as 1000, 2000, and 4000,  have been wielded like weapons, not for justice, but for power.

Let’s break it down:

Case 1000 – “The Gifts Affair”
Allegation: Netanyahu and his wife Sara received cigars, champagne, and jewelry from businessmen Arnon Milchan and James Packer, supposedly in exchange for favors.
Netanyahu’s defense: These were gifts between long-time friends. No favors, no deals, no crime.

Case 2000 –  “The Yedioth Ahronoth Affair”
Allegation: Netanyahu discussed a “deal” with media mogul Noni Mozes for favorable coverage.
Defense: The conversation never materialized, it was political talk that went nowhere.

Case 4000 — “The Bezeq-Walla Affair
Allegation: Netanyahu granted regulatory benefits to businessman Shaul Elovitch in exchange for favorable media coverage on Walla! News.
Defense: The decisions were made in the public interest. Netanyahu had no control over the media.

And yet, these accusations, none of them yet proven in court,  have been enough to destabilize Israel’s political system, divide the public, and paralyze governance for years. The timing? Conveniently aligned with Israel’s electoral cycles and every major political shift threatening the left-wing establishment.

Netanyahu calls it a “left-wing coup attempt.”
And looking at the pattern, it’s hard to disagree.

Enter Donald Trump,  The “Friend” with a Price Tag

Now, let’s be clear: I am not a Democrat. I have no affection for Biden’s weak, appeasing foreign policy. If I had to choose, my vote would lean Republican but not necessarily for Trump.

Because while Trump did good things for Israel, moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and helping broker normalization agreements,  he also opened the door to Israel’s greatest modern threat: Qatar and Turkey’s creeping influence.

Under Trump’s watch:

  • Erdogan’s Turkey expanded its presence in northern Syria, edging closer to Israel’s borders.
  • Qatar, the main financier of Hamas, gained political legitimacy and power across the Middle East.
  • The Trump administration greenlit Qatari influence in Gaza, a decision that emboldened terrorists and strengthened the Islamist infrastructure Israel now faces.

And here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Trump did it for himself.

Recently, Trump reportedly received a $400 million private jet “gift from Qatar, the same regime that funds Hamas and shelters its leaders in luxury hotels in Doha.
If Netanyahu’s cigars and champagne are called “bribery,” what do we call that?

The Double Standard That Stinks of Hypocrisy

The global media loves to demonize Israeli leaders, yet conveniently turns a blind eye when Western politicians do far worse. When an Israeli prime minister gets cigars from a friend, it’s a national scandal.
But when an U.S. president cozies up to dictators and oil-rich terror sponsors, it’s “just diplomacy.”

Israel is held to impossible standards that no other democracy on earth faces.
When Israel defends itself from terrorists hiding in schools and hospitals, the world calls it “genocide.”
When Netanyahu receives gifts from friends,  it’s “corruption.”
When Trump receives a $400 million jet from a country funding Hamas…silence.

This is not justice. It’s selective outrage, weaponized politics, and global hypocrisy at its finest.

The Real Threat: Not in Jerusalem, but Washington

The obsession with Netanyahu’s alleged corruption has distracted from the real danger: America’s shifting reliability as Israel’s ally.
Today, Israel stands surrounded,  by Hezbollah in the north, Hamas in the south, Iranian proxies in Syria, and now Turkish-Qatari influence creeping ever closer.

And instead of standing firmly beside Israel, the U.S. political class, left and right alike, uses the Jewish state as a pawn in their internal power games.

The media will keep screaming “Netanyahu the criminal,” while turning a blind eye to the backroom deals and actual bribery among global elites. But Israelis, and those who truly stand with Israel, must see through the fog.

Because the survival of the Jewish state has never depended on the approval of CNN, the UN, or the Biden administration.
It has always depended on truth, strength, and the courage to call hypocrisy by its name.

Final Thought

So, yes, I’ll say it plainly:
I’m sorry, Donald Trump, but did you not commit bribery?
You played the Middle East like a business deal, and Israel paid the price.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu,  demonized, accused, and dragged through the mud, remains the only leader who truly understands what it means to fight for Israel’s survival, not for applause, but for history.

And history, as it always does, will tell who was truly corrupt,
and who was simply too strong for his enemies to tolerate.

With over 200,000 followers across various social media platforms, our community is united by a shared love for Israel and a deep commitment to her future. My journey as an advocate for Israel began early. When I was 11 years old, my father was deployed to the Middle East through his work with UNTSO. I had the unique experience of living in both Syria and Israel, and from a young age, I witnessed firsthand the contrast in cultures and realities. That experience shaped me profoundly. Returning to the Netherlands, I quickly became aware of the growing wave of anti-Israel sentiment — and I knew I had to speak out. Ever since, I’ve been a fierce and unapologetic supporter of Israel. I’m not religious, but my belief is clear and unwavering: Israel has the right to exist, and Israel has the duty to defend herself. My passion is rooted in truth, love, and justice. I’m a true Zionist at heart. From my first breath to my last, I will stand up for Israel.
