Trump’s Inauguration and Iran’s Dictator’s Revenge

“The brigand of time never rests; do not trust its guise.
If it spares you today, tomorrow it may claim its prize.”/ Ḥāfeẓ-e Shīrāzī

For some of my colleagues in counterterrorism across various agencies—CIA, DHS, FBI, or the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center—as well as special forces or the Secret Service, my words might not hold much weight. However, based on my experience, I want to reiterate a crucial point: Shiite clerics and, more broadly, leaders of Islamic caliphates are vindictive, deeply resentful, and psychologically unstable. When they hold a grudge against someone, they don’t let it go. Like a venomous snake, they ultimately strike with their poisonous bite in an instant.

The current dictator of Iran, Ali Khamenei, is one such wild, cowardly, vengeful, and psychotic figure who has set the entire Middle East ablaze to achieve his destructive and sinister goals. He has been willing to commit any atrocity to create a “Shiite Crescent.” From his perspective, all of humanity is in the wrong except for himself. Contrary to the lies spread by the regime’s propaganda machine in Western media, he has armed and incited groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Islamic Jihad against Israel, culminating in the atrocities of October 7, 2023.

Since the day the most dangerous Islamic terrorist, Qassem Soleimani—the commander of the Quds Force—was eliminated by Trump and the then-CIA Director Gina Haspel, Khamenei has repeatedly threatened Trump’s life in a vindictive manner during his speeches. Soleimani’s death was humiliating for the regime, and Khamenei’s website even released an animated video depicting the assassination of Trump. IRGC commanders have also echoed threats against Trump’s life.

Despite differing views among my friends in the FBI during our meetings—where I strongly emphasized my point, though they had a different perspective—it’s essential to underscore this: the Islamic Republic, much like Islamic caliphates over the past 1,400 years, maintains sleeper terrorist cells in enemy territories. These cells remain dormant until the moment they execute their heinous plans. Within U.S. soil, leveraging its connections through Latin America, the regime is fully capable of committing crimes against Trump. These signals of negotiation and diplomacy should not deceive anyone; they are merely part of Khamenei’s duplicitous and hypocritical strategy. He sees himself as the leader of Islamic history and is willing to stage any spectacle for his supporters and propaganda. For him, human slaughter is insignificant.

Of course, Trump knows that the irrational, fanatical dictator of Iran was neither elected by the Iranian people nor values Iran’s name or the will of its people. It is clear that all security agencies are preparing for a grand, peaceful inauguration day for Trump, but the Islamic regime’s bloodthirsty criminals remain active, searching for any opening to strike. The transnational terrorism network of the Islamic Republic will continue to claim victims for years, even after the collapse of the mullahs’ regime in Tehran.

I hope the intelligence community of the United States demonstrates the professionalism and sharpness needed to thwart the deteriorating Iranian dictator’s plans. However, his nature is to create chaos, crises, and media spectacles, reveling in his bloodthirsty behavior for as long as he lives. The regime’s false sanctification of him is another crime perpetrated by humanity through 21st-century media, branding him with the grotesque and laughable title of “Ayatollah,” which means a “sign of God.” Giving such a title to an ignorant, savage dictator is both grotesque and tragic, akin to calling Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Osama bin Laden, or Imad Mughniyeh a “holy figure.” Isn’t it absurd? Yet American media continues to refer to this bloodthirsty, Islamic terrorist as a religious figure. One wonders which god or religion on earth assigned such a mission to this servant of the Russians.

And one final point that must not be forgotten: Trump’s return to the White House is a nightmare for the terrorist Ayatollahs, especially Khamenei himself. Khamenei once claimed, “Trump has been consigned to the dustbin of history,” but history has proven otherwise. It will be the foolish and despised dictator of Iran who will ultimately find himself in the dustbin of history, as his fragile web of deceit crumbles. As Iranians say, the lion-hearted Trump has triumphantly returned!

I wish Trump success and hope that, along with his security team and professional cabinet, he can restore America’s greatness, majesty, and power. The country has been my only refuge since fleeing the Iranian regime. I hope regime change in Tehran occurs during Trump’s presidency, allowing him to visit Tehran and reopen the U.S. embassy, deepening the friendship between the two nations more than ever.

Undoubtedly, the world will be a safer and more beautiful place with the collapse of Iran’s terrorist regime. / X: @EQFard
