We Will Die By These Myths
It has been a harrowing few years here in Israel and for Jews worldwide.
We have experienced scenes from the Holocaust — terror within our borders and a resurgence of antisemitism.
If we didn’t know it already just today and yesterday we learned that true evil lies at our doorstep:
- We discovered that the Bibas family is dead
- We saw as the “Palestinians” paraded around our dead in what can only be described as monstrous.
- We discovered that the “Palestinians” – not even Hamas, murdered Oded Lifshitz and the Bibas children in cold blood – These people we are supposed to make peace with tortured a great grandfather and tortured and murdered a toddler and a baby
- Through divine providence we were saved from a bus bombing terrorist operation that would have killed hundreds to thousands of innocents – one of the bombs was found in a children’s park
- We discovered that Hamas didn’t provide Shira Bibas’s body
These events are unfathomable but it is the reality that we live in and we must change the facts on the ground.
It is time that we abandon myths that have endangered our people for the past hundred years and have left countless Jewish and Arab families destroyed and heart broken.
It is also time that we hold those accountable that continue to share these myths, particularly from within our own communities.
Myth 1
“The Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are realistic peace partners, now or in the future and we should aspire for a two state solution” as well as “Most Palestinians are victims”
The “Palestinians” brought their children to dance around the coffins of a baby that was murdered in cold blood.
70% of Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, as well as in Gaza support October 7th.
The Gazans elected Hamas and the Arabs in Judea and Samaria would as well today.
These are not peace partners – they are as close to monsters as we have in today’s world.
Every effort at peace with them has resulted in suicide bombs, endless rockets on our families and October 7th.
There will not be nor should not be any sort of Two State Solution with the “Palestinians”.
People from our own community that advocate for this myth are not just misguided, they are being fundamentally immoral – advocating for something that risks human life and they need to be met with disgust and disappointment.
Myth 2
“What about Palestinian lives – The Jewish people are supposed to respect all life – we have a responsibility towards them”
This myth translates to Israel and the US providing aid to Palestinians. It translates to Jewish Americans sending money to “help Gazan Children” and using our religion as an excuse.
It translates to Jewish Voice for Peace, J-Street, BTzelem and the many other Jewish organizations that frequently slander the State of Israel.
Putting aside how these charities and organizations have been connected numerous times to supporting Islamist terror. This attitude fundamentally makes no sense.
In Greek virtue philosophy Oikophilia means that we are first and foremost responsible for our loved ones and community, before we are obligated to solve other’s problems. This philosophy is critical for a healthy society and for establishing real change.
The individuals within our community that want us to worry about the “Palestinians” and their well being reject their own fundamental responsibilities to their own communities and should be treated accordingly.
The “Palestinians” have chosen to sacrifice their own futures on murdering Jews, Gays and embracing macabre extremism. They have rejected any and every opportunity to civilize and have chosen every opportunity to prove themselves as evil.
We owe them nothing. Quite the opposite, the Arab people in Gaza and Judea and Samaria are responsible for the monsters that represent them. The civilians murdered children, and held hostages – we owe them nothing and should not support them but instead should do our best to identify those that support them as being morally broken.
We should provide them no aid and should not allow a single “Palestinian” to work from within our borders.
Myth 3
“Ethnic cleansing is immoral – Gaza/Judea and Samaria is their homeland”
This is the most convoluted myth of all.
The same people claiming this told the West to accept radical Islamist refugees that have destroyed Britain, Sweden, and Denmark and have made US campuses unsafe for Jews.
The same people claiming this claimed that Gazans lived in a concentration camp (so why not let them go)
The same people claiming this backed the ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif, have stood silent in the face of Christian ethnic cleansing in the Muslim world and have said nothing about how Jews have been systematically ethnically cleansed from the Muslim world.
The same people have said nothing about Pakistan, which was more or less ethnically cleansed of Hindus.
Not to mention that the most popular surname in Gaza is Al-Mazri – meaning “the Egyptian” – Most Arabs came into Israel and Gaza in the early 20th century as the Zionists made it habitable and prosperous.
Removing the Arabs from Gaza, and Judea and Samaria would be a kindness to them that they probably don’t deserve. It would mean that there are no more wars, no more children lost. And it would mean that finally there will be a chance at peace.
Anyone criticizing the Trump plan is sharing dangerous nonsense that has killed Jewish people and the Arabs alike.
It is time to force the Arabs out of Gaza and out of Judea and Samaria.
To anyone that tries to claim that this is a radical position, well all I have to say is:
A. you probably didn’t read this in full
B. you are complicit and history will judge you as they judged the Erev Rav, the KGB collaborators, and the Kapos
C.וְלַמַּלְשִׁינִים אַל תְּהִי תִקְוָה
We have a unique opportunity to provide lasting peace in Israel and to allow our children to grow free and safe. I am not ashamed of taking it, and neither should you be.
