For the ultra-right, I took Ministers Ben-Gevir and Smotrich
They each were always smart and learned to wing it. Overconfidently, they rush into new waters, to become sorcerer’s apprentices.
They misrepresent what they stand for. Trump says he’s for the People; he’s only for the rich. The Israeli new-right says it’s for Judaism, but it cherry-picks what part of Judaism it likes (which is against Judaism).
They enjoy playing ‘the ugly American’/’the ugly Jew,’ riling up hatred.
They’re allegedly thoroughly anti-democrats, and deny it. Let’s make that incontestable: the far-right sees them as their prime national leaders.
And What do Left-Wing USA and Israel Have in Common?
Two left-wing Israeli parties just gave the Right a six-seat majority by refusing to run together in national elections, both not making the threshold of four seats, squandering eight seats in total. Now, Israel got a right-wing government while most of the country is left-wing or center.
After the Midterms, all Democrats in the House refused to help Republican Majority Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy get elected, empowering the Tea Party, the most right-wing part of the Republicans in the House.
In principle and in general, the Left should be more moral as it fights for The People and not only for the privileged. But, being better (Woke) can lead to arrogance which easily leads to stupidity. What a waste.
