What will go wrong if Iran is left half-done

Terrorist revenge attacks in DC. Dirty bombs, pulled out of hiding places and set off in Manhattan. And much, much more. Iran still has a lot of monstrous assets around the world.

These horrors are not only possible if our objectives in Iran are left only half-achieved; many of them are probable.

If there is only partial denuclearization of Iran, the consequences will be apocalyptic. Same thing if the Islamist regime is left intact; it would go right back to putting together nuclear charges. And it would use them on us.

Delenda est Islamismus Persarum

The word is going around DC that Cato has risen up from the dead and whispered in Trump’s ear, “delenda est Carthago Persia”.

Cato is basically right. Right again, just as he was 2000 years ago.

Fortunately we, unlike Rome, can be humane about it. We will not massacre the people. But we must keep in mind that the other side has no such scruples. It would glory in massacring us if we let it. And it has been marching methodically to build up the capacity to do just that. We must eliminate its regime before it can eliminate our country.

Delenda est Islamismus Persarum. That must be our watchword.
