You March for Hamas, Not for Humanity
The World’s Silence Is the Real Genocide
Normally, our foundation, Time To Stand Up For Israel, focuses on one subject: Israel and her people. But today, we must speak about something bigger: the world’s hypocrisy.
For years, Israel has been the target of relentless hatred. The streets of global capitals have been filled with protesters screaming for Israel’s destruction. University campuses have been occupied, flags burned, and Jewish students harassed. Western journalists, activists, and so-called “human rights defenders” have obsessed over Israel while turning their eyes away from true horrors.
When Israel defends herself from Hamas terrorists, who kidnap babies, hide behind civilians, and store rockets in schools and hospitals, the world loses its mind. When Hamas fires missiles from hospitals, Israel is accused of “genocide.” When Israel warns civilians to evacuate before striking terrorist bases, she’s labeled an “apartheid state.”
But where are these same “humanitarians” when a real genocide unfolds, in Sudan, in Nigeria, in Burkina Faso?
Where are the protests, the flotillas, the celebrities, the late-night tears, the UN resolutions?
Where are the loud moralists now?
The Deafening Silence Over Sudan
While the anti-Israel movement drowns in lies, a true humanitarian nightmare rages across Africa and almost nobody cares.
In Sudan, the world is witnessing what even the United States Department of State now officially recognizes as genocide. Tens of thousands have been killed since war erupted in April 2023 between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The RSF, descended from the Janjaweed militias that terrorized Darfur two decades ago, has unleashed a new wave of ethnic cleansing.
Entire villages have been burned to the ground. Civilians, mostly from the non-Arab Fur, Masalit, and Zaghawa communities, have been slaughtered, raped, starved, or forced into exile. Over 12 million people have been displaced. More than 24 million face acute hunger. The UN and Human Rights Watch confirm widespread systematic killings, mass rapes, and forced starvation, the very definition of genocide.
Yet, you hear nothing.
No hashtags.
No “Free Darfur” trending on X.
No flotillas.
No marches in London, Paris, or New York.
Why?
Because there’s no political currency in Sudan’s tragedy. There’s no “clickbait” value. No easy villain to demonize, no Jews to blame.
Selective Outrage: The World’s Moral Bankruptcy
Let’s be clear: what we are witnessing is not ignorance, it’s moral bankruptcy.
Those who call Israel “genocidal” while remaining silent about Sudan are not humanitarians; they are hypocrites.
Those who cry for “Palestinian lives” but ignore the millions of Africans starving and dying are not peace activists; they are political opportunists.
It’s easy to hate Israel. It’s trendy. It makes you look “progressive.”
It’s harder to speak out for Sudanese children being butchered by Arab militias because that truth doesn’t fit the narrative.
So while Western activists vandalize Starbucks for “funding genocide,” Christians are being massacred in Nigeria, villages wiped out in Burkina Faso, and millions starve in Sudan
and they don’t say a word.
In Nigeria, extremist groups like Boko Haram and ISWAP have murdered tens of thousands. Between 4,000 and 7,000 Christians are killed each year, some burned alive, others executed for their faith. The global Christian watchdog Open Doors estimates that 70% of all Christians killed for their faith worldwide die in Nigeria.
In Burkina Faso, Islamist militias have turned once-stable regions into killing fields. Villages are raided, churches destroyed, and worshippers executed in their pews.
And still…silence.
No angry mobs.
No calls for boycotts.
No “liberal outrage.”
Apparently, African lives don’t trend.
While the World Turns Its Back, Israel Extends a Hand
And now, let’s look at Israel, the nation the world loves to hate.
While others stay silent, Israel acts. While others blame, Israel builds.
For decades, Israeli NGOs, companies, and the government itself have been at the forefront of humanitarian aid in Africa. Israeli innovation is saving lives, empowering women, and transforming entire communities, not through slogans, but through action.
IsraAID
Since 2001, IsraAID, headquartered in Tel Aviv, has been a lifeline for millions. It works in Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, and South Sudan, helping with clean water, health, education, and disaster recovery. In Malawi, over 70% of water-committee leaders trained by IsraAID are women, a revolution in local empowerment.
Innovation: Africa
Founded by Sivan Ya’ari in 2008, this NGO brings Israeli solar and water technology to over 10 African countries, including Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, and Senegal. Entire villages that once faced drought and famine now have clean drinking water and electricity, thanks to Israeli solar innovation.
Fair Planet
This Israeli non-profit is revolutionizing agriculture in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania. By introducing high-quality Israeli seeds, they’ve multiplied local harvests fivefold and improved food security for thousands of farmers.
MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development
For over 65 years, MASHAV has operated in 43 African nations, sharing Israeli know-how in health, agriculture, and education. It has trained thousands of local professionals, sponsored surgical missions to Ethiopia and Uganda, and helped establish pediatric cardiac programs in Côte d’Ivoire.
Israel4Africa
A platform that connects African development needs with Israeli companies and technology, from medical devices to water treatment and ICT solutions. This is not charity, it’s partnership.
This is Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, in action.
The Light That Shines in the Darkness
Israel, the same nation accused of “genocide”, is out there saving lives in Africa, feeding the hungry, and healing the sick.
While others chant hate, Israel builds wells.
While others burn flags, Israel plants seeds.
While others boycott, Israel builds partnerships.
And this is precisely why so many cannot stand Israel: because her light exposes their darkness.
Israel proves that moral strength, resilience, and compassion can coexist, even in a nation constantly under attack. She proves that a country can defend itself from terrorists and still care for strangers on another continent.
The truth is simple: Israel is not the problem. Israel is the example.
A Message to the Haters
To those who march under “Free Palestine” banners while ignoring the mass graves of Sudan, look in the mirror.
To those who scream “From the river to the sea” while thousands of Christians are slaughtered in Nigeria, you have blood on your hands, too.
And to those who call Israel “genocidal” while the RSF commits real genocide, your silence makes you complicit.
If your outrage only ignites when Jews defend themselves, it’s not justice you seek, it’s hatred.
The Real Side of History
We stand with Israel because she stands with humanity.
When hospitals collapse in Gaza, it’s because terrorists hide beneath them.
When hospitals collapse in Sudan, it’s because the world doesn’t care enough to send help.
There’s a difference between a nation defending itself and militias exterminating a people.
So yes, we at Time To Stand Up For Israel will continue to defend Israel’s right to exist, to defend herself, and to thrive. But we will also raise our voices for those truly abandoned, the people of Sudan, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso, because that’s what Israel does.
The Jewish people have always known what it means to be hunted, to be silenced, to be lied about. That’s why Israel helps, not because it’s fashionable, but because it’s right.
Conclusion: Choose the Light
You cannot call yourself a humanitarian if you only cry when it suits your politics.
You cannot call yourself “anti-genocide” if you’re silent when the victims are African.
And you cannot call yourself “pro-human rights” if you demonize the only democracy in the Middle East, the only one that’s actually out there saving lives.
So yes, Israel is a light unto the nations.
And if you support Hamas and stay silent about Sudan’s genocide, you are on the wrong side of history.
