25) Why do we wear Techeyles (sky-blue dye color) on our Tzizis (fringes on a four cornered garment)?
When we examine our Tzizis , were are told not to act like the spies “do not look” לא תתרו , and do not go after the wrong visions, זנים אחרים. Rather, we are instructed to see the Tzizis properly, ואיתם .
This means, we need to learn to understand (to see) that in Eretz Yisrael, something יש comes from nothing, .אין Here in Israel, Hashem is our G-d. We are to know that living in Eretz Yisrael is not and end; but rather a means to get to the goal of Dvkeykus דביקות . This is a state of a higher and closer relationship with G-d, which only occurs here in Israel and nowhere else. Those who do not want this relationship, are not serving G-d, but are rather serving another power called idolatry.
26) Why is Parnassa (annual income) the main issue of rejecting Aliyah today?
To successfully live in Eretz Yisrael, one has to be on the level of fear יראה and belief in G-d אמונה. This means to follow G-d’s will on the level of Ayin אין/ Hashgacha Pratis. If this is lacking and one chooses to remain in Chutz La’aretz and to rather serve G-d on the level of Yesh יש; then it is as if one does not have a G-d and may believe in some other power that grants Parnassa.
One who truly believes in G-d, will demonstrate this belief with action. Words are cheap and meaningless. A truly faithful person will realize that the same G-d who gives Parnassa in USA (for now) can also do it in Eretz Yisrael. To think that G-d is limited in His power or that our Parnassa is limited by our efforts is akin to idolatry and lack of belief in the One and True G-d.
27) How does Amalek prevent Aliyah?
Amalek was the first nation to attack the Jews upon their exodus from Egypt. They attacked in order to prevent their Aliyah. Amalek also attacks the very perception of G-d in Creation and in the world. Amalek creates safek ספק or doubt in the mind of the Jew, whether G-d is in charge (Hashgacha Pratis) or not. The name “Amalek” עמלק means “the Ayin/eye, is severed” ע-מלק. This nation aims to cut off the ayin of the tzitzis, in order that the proper theological message cannot be visualized, וראיתם אותו .
Our weapon against Amalek is to live in Eretz Yisrael and use the power of sod סוד and Ayin עין against him. Amalek wants to keep the Jews in the mindset of “Yesh MiYesh” יש מיש; in Chutz LaAretz.
Yakov had to defeat the power of Eisav and cross over the Yabok River in order to return to Eretz Yisrael and make Aliyah. This is seen in the name Yaakov י-ע-קב . It is made up of the letters Ayin ע and the river Yabok יבק. Once Yaakov defeated Eisav/Amalek and had the fear and full faith in G-d, he was then elevated to the name Yisrael ישראל . Eisav is the grandfather of Amalek, thus Yaakov had to confront Eisav on his return to Israel.
Yisrael means the willingness to live in Eretz Yisrael on the level of Yesh MiAyin (something from nothing). This power defeats Amalek by unifying the names of G-d, the Yud Heh + Vav Heh. This repairs the Throne of G-d from Kes Kah כס י-הto Kiseh YHVH כסא יה-וה.
The “Yaakov” camp of Jews enjoys staying in Chutz LaAretz and looking for acceptance among the gentiles and fighting anti-Semitism. Conversely, the “Yisrael” Israeli Jews make Aliyah to Tzion and thus make a Kiddush Hashem to combating the Chilul Hashem (desecration of G-d’s name), by unifying His name here in Israel.
28) Do Jews studying Torah and performing Mitzvos in the USA bring the Moshiach or actually prevent the Geulah from coming?
The Zohar teaches us that the Sita Achra gets strength from the Torah learning and prayers that take place in Chutz LaAretz. This is because the happier Jews are in Chutz LaAretz, the longer Jews stay out of Israel. This directly prevents The Final Redemption and Geula.
29) Where are the majority of Jews living today? In Eretz Yisrael or in Chutz LaAretz?
The majority of Jews, who are born of Jewish mothers, are currently living in Eretz Yisrael.
30) Is there any basis to the stories told to us in Chutz LaAretz: that at the time of Moshiachs’ arrival, we will be picked up with our USA homes, cars, pools, and wealth and be planted in new home of prime real-estate in Eretz Yisrael?
There is no Torah source for this pipe dream. It’s a blatant lie told to the Jews who live and grow up in the USA. These stories are meant to create passivity and to discourage any active steps towards Aliyah.
Once Moshiach arrives, free will no longer exist and the decision to male Aliyah will no longer be rewarded. G-d works according the rules of Mida Kineged Mida מידה כנגד מידה (measure for measure). During the time of Moshiach, G-d will not reward those who pursued Parnassa or physical comfort in place of the spiritual bliss of Eretz Yisrael.
The only difference between this world and Yemos Hamoshiach is the end of our oppression by non-Jews and foreign governments.
As Shmuel said: The only difference between this world and the days of the Moshiach is with regard to servitude to foreign kingdoms alone. [While in the days of the Moshiach Israel will be independent and free from enslavement to foreign powers, the world order will remain otherwise unchanged], as it is stated: ” For the poor shall not cease from the Land” (Devarim 15:11). [Which indicates that the ways of the world are set and unchanging] (Talmud Bavli Berachos 34b).
The Rambam is even for specific on what will occur during the days of Moshiach.

Mishneh Torah, Melachim uMilchamot – Chapter 12, Halachos 1-2
1)Do not presume that in the Messianic age any facet of the world’s nature will change or there will be innovations in the work of creation. Rather, the world will continue according to its pattern…
2) Our Sages taught: “There will be no difference between the current age and the Messianic era except the emancipation from our subjugation to the gentile kingdoms.”…
Based on the current housing market in Israel, one has to be very naïve to believe they will easily find a place to live. After Moshiach comes, good luck in finding an available apartment or house in Israel. Maybe it’s time to start building up the Negev and the Galil/Golan.
31) What does anti-Semitism in Chutz LaAretz teach us ?
This unprovoked illogical hatred of Jews in the Diaspora, teaches us that the protection of the Shechina in Chutz LaAretz is gone and that it has finally returned to Eretz Yisrael. Thus, Anti Semitism is meant to teach the Torah learned Jews to pursue G-d and his Shechina and follow Him to Eretz Yisrael.
We learn this lesson from Yaakov Avinu. He ran away from Lavan so that his Mitzvos would not give more power to Lavan (his evil father in-law) and keep him away from G-d in Chutz LaAretz. Yakov even gave away all of his parnasa that he earned in Chutz LaAretz to Eisav, in order not to have any connection to the Klipos (impure spiritual influences) of Chutz LaAretz.
32) What is worse than a Jew not making Aliyah?
A Jew not wanting – to want – to make Aliyah!
To be successful in Eretz Yisrael, one has to educate themselves on the essential nature of Eretz Yisrael and to our service to G-d. It does not come by itself . The centrality and love of Eretz Yisrael has been eradicated from the standard Yeshiva Torah curriculum. Nonetheless, it’s written all there in Tanach and the Talmud ש”ס. One just has to begin reading the very first Rashi on sefer Bereishis; and the rest is commentary.
33) When, according to the Zohar is revival of the dead תחיית המתים going to occur? Today’s date is 2022/5782.
According to Rav Yehuda, Techiyas HaMeisim, revival of the dead in Israel, will begin in the year 5790/2030! (in another 8 years from now)…
34) Can a Torah observant Jew chose to remain in exile?
To accept the physical exile from the Land of Israel is to reject G-d Himself. To remain in exile past the time that the Shechina is no longer there, is to endanger one’s life. To chose exile over Eretz Yisrael, when one actually has the opportunity to chose Aliyah, is to perpetuate the sin of the Meraglim spies. This is even if one chooses to pursue Torah studies in exile
35) How many Jews actually left Egypt מצרים ? We learn from the Egypt story what will occur in the future when Moshiach arrives. How many people from Chutz LaAretz/USA will eventually make Aliyah ?
The Talmud in Sanhedrin teaches us, that in the Messianic area only a minority of Jews will actually be able make Aliyah. We learn this from the Jewish experience upon leaving Egypt.
It is taught in a baraisa with regard to the few that are destined to be redeemed: Rav Simai says that it is stated: “And I will take you to Me as a people” (Shemos 6:7), and juxtaposed to that verse it is stated: “And I will bring you into the Land” (Shemos 6:8). The Torah compares their exodus from Egypt to their entry into the land; just as during their entry into the Land only 2 of 600,000 entered the land, as the men all died in the wilderness except for Calev and Yehoshua. So too, during their exodus from Egypt, in terms of the ratio, only 2 of 600,000 left Egypt and the rest died there. Rava says: And likewise, that will be the situation in the Messianic era, as it is stated: “And she shall respond there, as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt” (Hoshea 2:17). [The ultimate redemption and the exodus from Egypt are juxtaposed, indicating that in the Messianic era too, only few will survive and make Aliyah to Israel].
The Jews left Egypt “Chamushim“. Rashi translates this word as meaning only 1/5 of the Jews left Egypt, and thus 4/5 of the Jews died during the plague of darkness!
So G-d led the people around [by] way of the desert [to] the Reed Sea, and the children of Yisrael were chamushim when they went up out of Egypt. (Shemos 13:18)
To put this in perspective compare this to the major catastrophe of our era. We lost 6 million Jews in the Holocaust (killed by the Germans, Ukrainians, Poles, and Hungarians etc.). Possibly another 6 million Jews were murdered by Stalin in Russia ( for a total of 12 million Jews); this was a huge travesty, to say the least.
In Egypt 12 million Jews died (4/5) during the Plague of Darkness חשך, because they had no desire to leave Egypt for Israel with Moshe Rabeinu. Only 3 million Jews survived and left Egypt with Moshe into the wilderness.
The 1/5 (3 million) that left Egypt, were killed off in the desert. This was their punishment for eventually listening to the Meraglim מרגלים spies for refusing to make Aliyah at the appointed time.
36) Who is the Rasha רשע, evil son, in the Hagada of Pesach?
We say that if he was in Mitzrayim he would never be redeemed. That means that his attitude is like the 4/5th of the Jews who refused to make Aliyah and desired to remain in Chutz LaAretz.
We are told in the Hagada to hit his teeth. A tooth is a “shein” שן (350)which equals the gematria of sechel ( 350) שכל, logic. We his teeth because he tries to rationalize, using logic, such as parnasa, or made-up Torah sources of why he is justified in rejecting G-d and His Land. By knocking out his teeth or logic, we can educate him with the ultimate message of the Hagada which is to actually say “Next year I want to be in Yerushalayim”.
How many Jews today in the USA have an actual 12 month plan at the Pesach Seder to be in Eretz Yisrael the following year?
You will rise, You will have mercy on Zion for there is a time to favor it, for the appointed season has arrived. For Your servants desired its stones and favored its dust (Tehillim 102; 14-15).
