To President Trump

Mr. President, first, I want you to know that I am proud to support you again. I can’t imagine the difficulty that you face in making tough decisions that affect our country, whether it’s financially or in national security.
I am also fully aware that you see more than we do when it comes to making decisions for our national security. I know that making a peace deal with the tyrannical Iranian regime was definitely not an easy decision to make. However, I think it is a mistake. The Iranian regime has always broken the deals that they’ve been given over the years. These terrorists don’t care about the Iranians, who are begging for our help. I know we are not the world police, but sometimes we can’t just sit back and do nothing while people are being treated like second-class citizens or even worse, killed just because they defy this regime.
Iran is also responsible for over 1000 American deaths by their proxy militant terrorist groups, and will continue to harm Americans until the regime is held accountable. This terrorist regime also threatens our ally Israel, which the people of the only Jewish state also beg for help from the United States. They felt betrayed by this deal, and their feelings are valid.
I know you are making tough decisions for our country, and I know you promised not to start new wars. I also remember why I voted for you in 2016: you promised to be tough on Iran. Sometimes making the hard decision isn’t the popular choice, but it’s the moral choice to keep our country safe, which I know you deeply care about. And I, as an American Army veteran who cares about our country believe that the Iranian regime must be taken out.
Thank you for your time, Mr. President. You continue to have my support.
