Maiyan is a visual artist and writer.
She has worked as a professional artist and writer in Israel, South Africa, Mauritius and Fiji and created several large public artworks.
Numerous short stories are published online and in print.
Returning to Israel in 2022, she now lives in Kiryat Tivon in the North.
Her latest mission is combining paintings and writing into a collective work which tells the unusual stories and extraordinary situations they survived while maintaining their Jewish identity.
As a social entrepreneur, she initiated a tech start-up and is currently building it up between painting and writing.
